Peninsula Youth Theatre (PYT) provides outstanding theatrical learning experiences that develop leadership, emphasize responsibility and foster teamwork in a supportive, respectful environment.

Blue Bear School of American Music was founded by a rock band in the early '70's. Why not teach Rock instead of Bach, the Blues instead of Beethoven? Including solid music theory courses along with professional mentoring, electric Band Workshops and Songwriting courses, Blue Bear continues to offer high quality popular music education at affordable prices to music lovers of all ages. Scholarships are awarded annually to promising talent ages 12-22, funded by contributions from individuals, music industry professionals and businesses. Blue Bear has an active outreach programs serving at-risk kids in the Bayview and Tenderloin districts and runs after-school music programs at over 15 sites in San Francisco. Helping Refugees and Georgia ThriveAt New American Pathways, our vision is to promote safety, stability, success, and service for individual refugees and refugee families in Georgia. We offer distinct program areas that focus on jobs, education, cultural integration, individual and female empowerment, building strong families and civic engagement. All of these programs are enhanced through the service of a 16-member AmeriCorps team and hundreds of volunteers.Our unique continuum of services results in better outcomes for refugees of all ages and at all stages of self-sufficiency, and ensures that these new Americans develop and contribute their special skills and talents to strengthening the American workforce and helping Georgia thrive.

People who understand the power of free access to information call libraries the collective memory of humanity. The JPL Foundation serves N.E. Florida by providing funds for programs and materials over and above traditional tax base funding for the Jacksonville Public Library. The Foundation encourages investments in the future of our community through a variety of giving opportunities, i.e., capital campaigns, donations, grants, endowment fund, Planned Giving programs and memorials.

Desire Street Ministries helps leaders stay on the field, where they reach kids and families living in under-served neighborhoods. Most leaders in these areas burn out in 5 years, so we come alongside to help them not only survive but thrive for the long run needed to see revitalization. Our mission is to love our neighbor by revitalizing under-resourced neighborhoods through spiritual and community development.
