Mission Statement: The University of Delaware exists to cultivate learning, develop knowledge, and foster the free exchange of ideas. The mission of the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges is to advance the distinctive values and strengths of these smaller enrollment, primarily residential Virginia member colleges. TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AND SUPPORT LAMAR STATE COLLEGE - PORT ARTHUR

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CCSF STUDENTS, BUILDS AND IMPLEMENTS ENDOWMENT FUNDS TO SUPPORT CCSF STUDENTS AND THE COLLEGE, AND ENLISTS CONTINUING SUPPORT FOR THE COLLEGE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES AND ASSISTS CCSF PRIMARILY THROUGH STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, ESTABLISHMENT OF FACULTY CHAIRS, AND PARTICIPATION IN SUPPORT (FINANCIAL) OF CCSF PROGRAMS.
