NewU is the first new private nonprofit undergraduate university to call Washington, DC home in over 100 years. It is also the first new in-person college to launch in the US in the last 15 years. Our Vision is that by the year 2030 other leading universities will adopt our business and academic model to transform Higher Education for the benefit of students, parents, and society.

The Philosophy of Education at EPIC Bible College is based upon the premise that God is the source of all truth; that the Holy Spirit is the Leader and Guide into all truth; that humans, as created in the image of God, may gain knowledge and understanding of spiritual and physical realities through pursuit of truth. Further, God has revealed Himself in general revelation through the physical, created world and in special revelation through the person of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, the Bible.

To help as many people as we can to achieve their goals and lead happy, successful lives through Education and Transformative Conversations and to promote values that aim at decreasing or eliminating inequity; promoting inclusiveness of diversity; and establishing environments that are supportive of all people. We are committed to advocating for & serving the marginalized & vulnerable communities in Santa Clara County & beyond. We offer Consultation Services to Individuals, Couples, and Families for only $10 an hour at ourConsultation Center for Healing and Transformation.

Berea College is a not-for-profit institution providing liberal arts education to students with limited family financial resources primarily from the Southern Appalachian Mountain region.  All Students are provided a full tuition scholarship and, accordingly, the College is dependent on gifts and donations to help provide a low cost but high quality eductation.  The College has one campus located in Berea, Kentucky with an enrollment of approximately 1,600 students and approximately 450 non-student employees.  Founded in 1855, Berea College was the first college in the South to educate blacks and whites, women and men, together.
