The CSUN Foundation’s primary function is to further the scientific, literary and educational purposes and objectives of the university by cultivating relationships—actively seeking and encouraging private gifts, philanthropic contributions, and grants from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations, and providing ongoing donor stewardship.

St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute transforms the lives of students from diverse backgrounds through academic excellence and care for the whole person in a respectful, Lasallian Catholic community, developing each students unique talents in preparation for college and life.

Students Rising Above invests in low-income, first generation college students who have demonstrated a deep commitment to education and strength of character in overcoming tremendous odds of poverty, homelessness, and neglect. We help each student to realize his or her potential by guiding and supporting them through college graduation, and into the workforce. Our graduates are breaking the cycle of poverty within their own families, serving their communities, providing a new generation of employees and leaders from diverse backgrounds, and accelerating positive change.

To provide academically excellent, time-efficient, and cost-effective higher education for a diverse population of working adults for whom those opportunities may have been limited or denied.

We break down barriers that prevent young, underserved individuals from achieving education and career success.

Williams seeks to provide the finest possible liberal arts education by nurturing in students the academic and civic virtues, and their related traits of character. Academic virtues include the capacities to explore widely and deeply, think critically, reason empirically, express clearly, and connect ideas creatively. Civic virtues include commitment to engage both the broad public realm and community life, and the skills to do so effectively. These virtues, in turn, have associated traits of character. For example, free inquiry requires open-mindedness, and commitment to community draws on concern for others.

The Housatonic Community College Foundation was founded in 1990 by a group of Greater Bridgeport residents and business and arts leaders. The Foundation provides financial assistance to the College and its students beyond the fundamentals provided by the State of Connecticut and assists the College in becoming a unique educational resource for its students and the community. The Foundation also serves as a vehicle generating funding for Housatonic student scholarships, student emergency assistance, child care assistance for parents enrolled at Housatonic, program enhancements and support of the Housatonic Museum of Art.

Our core curriculum in the liberal arts and sciences aims to enrich lives as well as professions and serves to unify the undergraduate experience. Graduate and professional schools express our commitment to research, rigorous standards, and innovative application of knowledge. We aim not only to be excellent professionals with an ability to analyze and articulate clearly what is, but also to develop the ethical and aesthetic values to imagine and help realize what might be.

The mission of the Association and its membership is to enhance and support the continued existence of Florida A and M University by: raising and giving funds to the University that will support its programs; recruiting students that will attend the University; recruiting alumni and others that will support the University and its goals, through membership in the Association; doing those things that perpetuate a positive image of the Association and the University; and influencing communities and governmental activities that will support the University's priorities.
