The mission of Arbor Montessori School is to develop the unique capabilities of each child through supportive relationships, joyful learning and meaningful work in a Montessori environment. We seek to foster independence in each child, preparing him or her to contribute with integrity to the community of the larger world.

At the Millburn Cooperative Nursery School, parents have the opportunity to participate in their child's first school experience. Founded in 1974, the school is a unique, non-profit preschool located in a one-room schoolhouse on the edge of Taylor Park. Teachers and parents work together to provide a secure, relaxed atmosphere. In our two-year program, children learn through play, in an atmosphere that is warm and supportive. We offer stimulating and varied activities designed to help each child grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at his or her own pace.

The goal of the school is to provide the intellectually challenging experiences required to develop independent, productive, and responsible individuals, who will learn to love learning, will be taught to think critically, and who will demonstrate that they understand the importance of taking active roles in community life

Providing scholarships to student athletes who wish to pursue a college education

The goal of St. David's Nursery School is to provide for the growth and development of the whole child and his or her social, intellectual, emotional and physical needs. We strive to provide a warm, nurturing and challenging environment where creative play may flourish and sound relationships may develop. It is our belief that in such an environment your child may grow as an individual with a positive self-concept and an ability to relate to others.

Our mission is to empower the body, mind and spirit of at-risk homeless youth in the Baltimore metropolitan area so that they understand the value of having only one chance at life and making it count.

The Carbondale Clay Center exists to promote excellence in the ceramic arts and to build community through clay related activities. Our mission is to serve the community by offering diverse, high quality ceramic arts educational programs and providing support for ceramic artists through teaching, exhibiting, and educational opportunities.

Parents Connected is a grassroots group of parents dedicated to helping our children and other parents move successfully through school and college. By engaging other parents, community experts, and elected officials we will get our children the support they need for good public education. We will also work with each other so our children are successful at getting to and through college or work readiness where they can be self supporting and give back to their individual communities.
