The mission of Project GRAD Houston is to support a quality public education for all children in economically disadvantaged communities so that high school and college graduation rates increase.

We believe the transformative power of a college education ignites the full potential of first generation students, their families, and their communities. Since 1999, Project GRAD Los Angeles has been working to raise the college graduation rate in the northeast San Fernando Valley by helping students navigate the path from middle school through college. Disparities in educational resources undermine too many first generation students’ post-secondary success, ultimately affecting the regions economic vitality and quality of life. Project GRAD is on the frontlines of this most pressing challenge. Our staff is embedded in eight public schools, championing the college aspirations of all students, while working directly with 1,500 students and families providing the skills, knowledge, and programs needed to ensure college success. Project GRAD Los Angeles has crafted an innovative, high-quality, data-driven model for college success beginning in middle school and continuing throughout college that is specifically designed to help first-generation, low-income students. The Project GRAD model has been recognized nationally for its success in increasing the number of first generation college-goers and was adopted into the Higher Education Act of 2008 as a reform model to replicate.

Teaching goodness, discipline and knowledge is the tradition of the Basilian Fathers and the sacred mission of St. Thomas, a Catholic college preparatory high school. A man of St. Thomas is a faith-filled, life-long learner who thinks critically, communicates effectively, and prepares thoroughly to excel in college and in life. He actively serves his community, integrates Christian morality into all aspects of his life, and measures his success by the standards set forth in the Gospels.

AdoptAClassroom.org believes every child deserves the tools and materials they need to learn and thrive in school. To achieve this, teachers are spending an average of $860 of their own money each year on their classrooms. AdoptAClassroom.org is a national nonprofit that funds PreK-12 teachers and schools across the U.S. to help equip more classrooms and students for success, and offset the financial burden on teachers. Since 1998, AdoptAClassroom.org has raised $73 million and equipped more than 7 million students across the U.S. 90% of all funded classrooms are considered high needs. Founded in 1977, Childsplay's mission is to create theatre so strikingly original in form, content or both, that it instills in young people an enduring awe, love and respect for the medium, thus preserving imagination and wonder, those hallmarks of childhood that are the keys to the future.

FIRST® in Texas’ mission is to increase access to FIRST® programs in Texas. Our vision is that every Texas student has the opportunity to participate in FIRST®Robotics!

For over 25 years, Create Now has empowered underserved communities and youth from ages 3 to 24 through a variety of programs while also providing tons of events and activities outside of the class room. We give youth exposure to events, and trips to venues and locations that they aren't usually used to. We believe that all youth, regardless of their economic background, should have access to the same educational and creative opportunities. Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded in 2009 by producer Nigel Lythgoe and director Adam Shankman, among others to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the United States. Guided by a board representing all aspects of the American dance community, the foundation's mission is threefold: 1. To sponsor, fund, and/or support dance education programs which expose children in low-income areas to the lifelong benefits of dance education through and with local community organizations. 2. To provide scholarships to talented students studying at accredited or nationally regarded dance schools, studios, or institutions. 3. In conjunction with recognized credentialing organizations, to support and increase the quality of all styles of dance education in the United States.
