Transparent Fish Fund is a 501(c)(3) US non-profit organization founded in 2011 in Palo Alto, California, established exclusively for charitable purposes to connect credible Chinese and East Asian grassroots NGOs with individuals from the West. The greater mission behind this work is to foster a sustainable long-term NGO culture in East Asia, and in doing so, spread a global spirit of philanthropy.

Motivated by God’s love, we partner with our neighbors in need, equip volunteers, respond to disasters and strengthen communities to inspire greater hope in our world.

Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. Like all things in Silicon Valley, the idea of Aram Sei germinated when a group of like-minded volunteers decided to Aram Sei which in Tamil means, help others. Aram Sei intends to help grassroots organizations raise money to support endeavors that aim to provide basic education and healthcare. Aram Sei’s core values include: operate with very low overheads, support grassroots organizations that do not have a proper fundraising channel, and create awareness about supporting grassroots charities and social issues.

Founded in 2015, Lalafofofo’s U.S. Mission is to provide American youth the opportunity to be involved with service projects in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, East Africa. the overall international mission of the organization is twofold: 1) to leverage donations and service projects directed towards sustainability to improve the quality of lives of women and children in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania; and 2) to provide a means to enact the values of service, giving back and global citizenry in american youth.

The mission of Children of Vietnam (CoV) is to “build brighter futures for poor, orphaned, homeless, disabled and vulnerable children in vietnam” with two overarching goals: a) to assist children and families overcome the cycle of poverty, ill health, and homelessness; b) to provide immediate aid to children and families in crisis. this mission is driven by our founders’ beliefs, which guide our daily efforts: every child deserves to be happy, every child deserves a bright future, every child deserves a future without poverty, every child deserves to develop to his or her full potential, we are making this happen one child, one family, one community at a time, we are doing this by educating, healing, sheltering and nurturing. CoV strives to achieve its goals through six initiatives further outlined below: healthcare, education, housing, nutrition, empowering foundations for women & their children, and hope system of care for children with disabilities. With the dedicated support of its founder, Ben Wilson, who works without pay, CoV’s 13-member board of directors, multiple volunteers, one and a half full-time us-based employee, 4 part-time hourly assistants, and a staff of 9 in-country Vietnamese nationals work to implement these various initiatives at the grass-roots level to provide maximum impact.

Child Family Health International (CFHI) provides community-based global health education programs for students and institutions. Our unique model fosters reciprocal partnerships and empowerment in local communities, transforming perspectives about self, healing and global citizenship.

Marc Gold, the founder of the 100 Friends Project, is a philanthropic traveler who aims to provide assistance to some of the most needy people in the poorest parts of the world who are lacking in medical, educational and financial resources. The organization improves these people's quality of life in a number of ways. Sometimes the help comes in the form of financial assistance. Usually this would be a one-time donation but sometimes this can be followed up with further payments. In some circumstances, donations can consist of blankets, medications, food, and other practical everyday items that can significantly improve people's standard of living. The 100 Friends Project has helped people living in poverty and deprivation to set up businesses of their own, get off the streets and into safe housing, benefit from an education, access vaccinations and medical care and brings people hope and the chance of a future. The project also proves what an important and significant difference can be made with very small amounts of money and resources, when it is distributed directly into the hands of those whose needs are the greatest.

Farms for Orphans, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation based in Loveland, Colorado, USA. The mission of Farms for Orphans, Inc is to ensure orphaned and underprivileged children in developing countries have a sustainable source of nourishment and access to education by building the agricultural infrastructure needed to produce food and provide training in environmentally sound agricultural practices.
