We are a nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to under served immigrant children, families, and refugees. With legal services, social programs, bond assistance, and an advocacy team focused on changing the narrative around immigration in this country, RAICES is operating on the national front lines of the fight for immigration rights. We defend the rights of immigrants and refugees, empower individuals, families, and communities, and advocate for liberty and justice. Since 2018, our Bond Fund is the largest in the nation with just under $12 million spent to secure the release of more than 1,200 individuals from ICE detention. Our San Antonio Bus Station Project helped more than 9,000 adults and 12,000 children released from detention understand their legal rights. We have a volunteer program with over 5,000 trained volunteers and pro bono lawyers to perform essential tasks such as accompanying people to ICE check-ins and preparing detained clients for credible fear interviews.

Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) acts as a first responder to vulnerable communities affected by disasters around the world. GEM is dedicated to restoring hope and opportunity in the lives of those most affected by disasters. The organization provides immediate relief, assists communities during the gap period before receiving assistance from other institutions, and engages in long-term recovery efforts with sustainable development practices. This three-phased approach allows GEM to provide individuals and families with the help they need when they need it most.

Airlink is a global humanitarian organization delivering critical aid to communities in crisis by providing airlift and logistical solutions to nonprofit partners, changing the way the humanitarian community responds to disasters around the world. Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises. Applying our model of quick action, leveraging local resources, and adapting in real time, WCK has served hundreds of millions nourishing meals around the world. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes with the urgency of now to start cooking meals for people in need. WCK serves comforting meals to survivors of disasters quickly by partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of local restaurants, food trucks, or kitchens. To support regional economies, WCK prioritizes purchasing local ingredients to cook with or distribute. Food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.

The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to healing the wounds of war, occupation and poverty for children in the Middle East, regardless of their nationality, religion, race or gender.

Girls Garage is a nonprofit design and building program and dedicated workspace for girls and female-identifying youth ages 9-18. Girls Garage is the first design and building workshop for female youth in the United States. Through after-school and summer pathways, Girls Garage provides free and low-cost programs in carpentry, welding, architecture, engineering, and activist art to a diverse community of 200 girls per year. Integrating technical skills, college/career guidance, and community leadership, our programs equip girls the tools to build the world they want to see. In our workshop in Berkeley and under the guidance of our highly skilled all-female staff, we invite girls to bring their creative voice and put them to work on real-world building projects that live in our community.
