One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. World Central Kitchen uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. Keep Kids Fire Safe® Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to teaching fire safety knowledge and skills to children and their caregivers based on current  fire safety research. Through our programs, safety materials, and strategic partnerships, the Keep Kids Fire Safe® Foundation aims to help reduce fire-related deaths, injuries, and property losses.

It is the present and future goal of the Shermans Dale Community Fire Company to continue the legacy of service to others that were started by many respectable members of our community years ago. Members are committed to increasing their fire services knowledge through training and educational courses; they place value in presenting themselves as positive role models in order to continue a trusted relationship with our citizens, and they are dedicated to conducting fundraising events that help raise needed monies to offset tax increases to our citizens. It is with continued community support and volunteerism that the Shermans Dale Volunteer Fire Company will continue to excel in our community.

Christian Freedom International (CFI) aids, equips and advocates for Christians who are oppressed or persecuted for their faith. CFI provides spiritual and physical help for suffering Christians to live in the dignity of God’s love and rise above their circumstances. CFI offers ways for Christians to ease the burdens of persecuted Christians through prayer, action, and giving, including emergency and disaster relief, Bible distribution, medical assistance, refugee aid, food, clothing, shelter, education, scholarships, pastor assistance, aid to the disabled, asylum case-work, and vocational training. CFI sponsors schools, children, pastors, and families.
