TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS FOR THE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS AND FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES FOR THE BLUE ROCK REGIONAL FIRE DISTRICT. THE DISTRICT INCLUDES APPROXIMATELY 50 SQUARE MILES INCLUDING MILLERSVILLE BOROUGH AND MANOR TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.

Search for Lost Persons— Southeast Pennsylvania Search and Rescue’s (SEPASAR) primary mission is to locate lost persons and provide such first aid as may be necessary to those located. This mission is accomplished by dispatching mounted search personnel to the scene and under the direction of a search operations and or search planning ICS function search areas designated consistent with rider and horse safety.

The Wooster Township Fire Department serves the citizens in Wooster Township and, through contractual agreements, portions of Franklin, Plain and Wayne Townships. Total population for the district is approximately 8,500 in an area covering 52 square miles. The department is a participant in the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) which covers Wayne County and reaches into Holmes and Ashland counties and the Ohio Fire Chiefs Statewide Mutual Aid Plan agreement. The department responds to an average of 1000 runs annually with approximately 800 of these runs being emergency medical responses.

THE MISSION OF THIS ORGANIZATION SHALL BE TO PROMOTE FELLOWSHIP AMONG ITS MEMBERS; COOPERATION BETWEEN VARIOUS FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND/OR EMERGENCY SQUADS; TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ON FIRE FIGHTING; FIRE PREVENTION, EMERGENCY SQUAD AND RESCUE WORK; TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN THE WCFRA REGIONAL TRAINING FACILITY; AND TO AID OTHER LIKE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE STATE OF OHIO.

The group aspires to financially and technically support development that is SUSTAINABLE (long-term, self-supporting, and environmentally non-predatory), NON-VIOLENT (without brute force), DEMOCRATIC, EQUITABLE (fair and just, more for the needy) and DE-CENTRALIZED (not imposed from above, grass-roots, and local/native solutions).

Our mission is to help cancer patients get access to the most effective treatments available. We want to make sure that cancer patients' lives depend not on their income or birthplace, but on the progress of modern medicine. We focus on supporting children and adults undergoing treatment in St. Petersburg, Russia or those traveling for treatment abroad. Some patients require stem cell transplants from foreign bone marrow donor registries. Others, with rare and less-studied types of cancer, have to travel for treatment or participation in clinical trials abroad.

The mission of Project Salone is to care for the orphan and widow and advocate for the voiceless. Project Salone will raise awareness of the orphan crisis and directly aid orphans and impoverished families to create a sustainable future.

Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International of the Americas is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. About 45,000 Soroptimists in 20 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiting women and girls. Soroptimist International of the Americas is part of Soroptimist International, which comprises almost 95,000 members in about 120 countries. The name, Soroptimist, means 'best for women,' and that's what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best working to help other women to be their best. Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. Club projects range from renovating domestic violence shelters, to providing mammograms to low-income women, to sponsoring self-esteem workshops for teenage girls. In addition, Soroptimists participate in organization-wide programs that include the Women's Opportunity Awards, Soroptimist Club Grants for Women and Girls, the Soroptimist Workplace Campaign to End Domestic Violence, the Making a Difference for Women Award and the Violet Richardson Award. All projects seek to make life better for women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

Founded in 2004, PEG Partners supports schools and libraries in Guatemala for projects that nourish literacy, critical thought, and artistic expression.

HIO is a literacy network to encourage formal and non-formal education for girls and young women in inner-city Kathmandu.
