Sempervirens Fund’s mission is to protect and permanently preserve redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) forests, wildlife habitat, watersheds, and other important natural and scenic features of California’s Santa Cruz Mountains, and to encourage public appreciation and enjoyment of this environment.

To be a catalyst enabling U.S. alumni and friends to make tax-deductible contributions with the option of nominating any approved institution for a grant. Also, to encourage British schools, universities and other educational institutions to reach out to their US constituencies in their fund-raising efforts.

The Minoa Fire Department's mission is to provide community fire protection.

The SRVFC and Rescue Team was founded in 1906. They provide cutting-edge fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to Slippery Rock and the surrounding areas.

The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, Inc. was organized in 1962 as independent non-profit corporation dedicated to providing emergency medical services (EMS), non-emergency ambulance transportation and health/safety training to the Summit community. We are the primary response agency for all 9-1-1 medical calls. We are staffed 100% by volunteers and are funded solely through private contributions. All of our services are provided free of charge. The Squad is run by officers and a Board of Trustees who are elected from among the membership.

TEXSAR is committed to service-above-self, perpetual training, and inter-agency cooperation to maintain a constant state of readiness for search, rescue, incident response and above all else, safety.TEXSAR serves all citizens of Texas, it can be deployed to any region of Texas, and there is no charge for its services to any agency requesting assistance. TEXSAR has been recognized by the OneStar Foundation and the Office of the Governor of Texas with the 2022 Governor’s Volunteer Award for Excellence in Disaster Volunteerism.
