Mission: Mission America Solidaria promotes regional development throughout the Americas, strengthening local initiatives through year-long service projects in nonprofit organizations working to alleviate youth poverty through a focus on education, health, and/or economic empowerment. Our projects create lasting change by influencing public opinion and policy and helping shape future professionals, increasing the standard of living and supporting growth in the region.

The Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) is working toward a more effective and compassionate model of healthcare by training healthcare professionals to combine the precision of modern science with the wisdom of the world’s great healing traditions to help people heal themselves, their clients, families, and communities. The Center teaches scientifically-validated mind-body medicine techniques that enhance each person’s capacity for self-awareness and self-care to health professionals around the world, including those in traumatized communities in the greatest need. The Center believes that all of us have a great and largely untapped capacity to improve our own health and well-being through mind-body approaches (such as meditation, guided imagery and biofeedback) and self-expression (such as drawing and movement), as well as nutrition, exercise and group support. We offer 4 training programs where professionals learn these skills: Mind-Body Medicine, CancerGuides®, Food As Medicine and Global Trauma Relief.

Books For Africa's vision is to end the book famine in Africa.  To accomplish that, the organization collects, sorts and ships donated textbooks, reference and general reading books to countries throughout Africa.

Every day nearly 7,000 men, women, and children are infected with HIV. IAVI's mission is to ensure the development of safe, effective, accessible, preventive HIV vaccines for use throughout the world. IAVI is a global not-for-profit, public-private partnership working to accelerate the development of a vaccine to prevent HIV infection and AIDS. IAVI supports a comprehensive approach to HIV and AIDS that balances the expansion and strengthening of existing HIV prevention and treatment programs with targeted investments in new AIDS prevention technologies. As the world's only organization focused solely on the development of an AIDS vaccine, IAVI also works to ensure a future vaccine will be accessible to all who need it.

The mission of UCP Wheels for Humanity is to provide increased self-sufficiency and mobility to persons with disabilities throughout the world without regard to political affiliation, religious belief, or ethnic identity.

Medical Missions for Children is dedicated to serving the medical needs of catastrophically ill children in underserved U.S. and international communities. Through the use of its Global Telemedicine and Teaching Network, a satellite and Internet-based communications platform, Medical Missions for Children facilitates the real-time treatment of remote, critically ill children, broadcasts an extensive program of continuing medical education, and supports dialogue exchange among a global network of medical specialists. The organization's goals are designed to help catastrophically ill children by raising the level of medical expertise in local hospitals in underserved areas through medical education for physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators and through the use of live, two-way diagnostic and treatment consultations between specialists based at major U.S. medical centers and physicians in the local hospital. Typically, Medical Missions for Children facilitates the treatment of 1,500 children each month. Medical Missions for Children's global network encompasses pediatric healthcare facilities in Latin America, Africa, India, and Eastern Europe, and the volunteer services of more than 22 tier-one U.S.-based and four international medical institutions. Medical Missions for Children also partners with the United Nations and the World Bank, serving as the exclusive content provider for its Global Development & Learning Network (delivered to universities, medical schools, and the World Bank's own Learning Centers). Medical Missions for Children's medical activities are carried out daily through the Global Telemedicine & Teaching Network(GTTN). The GTTN enables the pairing of physicians located at one or more of Medical Missions for Children's mentor medical centers with attending physicians located at its recipient hospitals. This relationship, established in a video-teleconference format, allows for the collaborative examination, diagnosis, and treatment of a child or pregnant woman in a real-time setting, resulting in a more comprehensive evaluation and accelerated treatment of a myriad of illnesses and physical conditions. Medical Missions for Children also addresses developing countries' pediatric and maternal healthcare concerns through the implementation of a multi-disciplinary medical education program. Tapping into the expertise of its volunteer medical centers, leading medical associations, and the National Institutes of Health, Medical Missions for Children manages and broadcasts a world-class digital library of medical education materials, including live and pre-recorded lectures, symposia, grand rounds, and research seminars. Medical Missions for Children, in partnership with St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, a 120-bed hospital in inner-city Paterson, New Jersey, manages a unique healing experience for its young patients. Giggles Theater, a 70-seat theater also able to accommodate children in wheelchairs and beds, and located within St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, brings local and regional performing artists directly to pediatric patients, through weekly performances and hands-on activities. Music, drama, puppetry, dance, storytellers, and live, interactive "video field trips" break the monotony and bring brightness to these sick children. Performances take place for both a live audience, and for non-ambulatory patients, broadcast via the hospital's closed circuit television system. Since the theater features the latest telecommunications technology Medical Missions for Children and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital transmit around the world to children's hospitals in developing countries.

Our mission is to facilitate the distribution of surplus medical resources where they are needed. As such, our programs have both a local and international focus. Goods are distributed in a non-discriminatory manner without regard to race, color, gender, religion, nationality or political beliefs. In pursuing the mission, the Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff seek t 1.      Relieve human suffering 2.      Demonstrate respect for all customers, clients, and patients 3.      Collaborate with community organizations collectively to provide services to those in need 4.      Maintain a proactive approach to improving services provided The key to WMR’s success throughout its history has been the recycling of usable medical equipment, supplies, instruments, and medications that have been collected from area physicians, hospitals, clinics, and individuals. WMR has the ability to utilize these items in our services and programs that help people all over the world.  Another crucial element of World Medical Relief is the help of volunteers. Volunteers can be found in all departments of the organization; in all over 1,700 annually.

The mission of Matthew 25: Ministries is to fulfill Matthew 25:34-40 of the New Testament by providing nutritional food to the hungry, clean water to the thirsty, clothing to the naked, affordable shelter to the homeless, medical care to the ill, and humanitarian supplies to those in need. Additionally, Matthew 25: Ministries is committed to fulfilling Matthew 25:40 by educating the public on the conditions and needs of the “least of these” and by providing resources for action.
