Lula Washington Dance Theatre is a 501 c 3 tax exempt non-profit organization founded in 1980 by Lula and Erwin Washington to provide a creative outlet for minority dance artists in South Los Angeles through a community-based school of dance and dance center; a Youth Dance Ensemble; and a world class modern dance company that will perform works that uplift the human spirit. The educational goal is to create a community-based dance school in the inner city where local youth can learn the art of dance, launch careers in the dance field and use dance as a tool to help them build the skills needed to be successful in life.

The mission of Effortless Artistry Music is to expand Taubman Approach training in the community and to enable musicians of all levels to achieve their artistic potential and play with ease for a lifetime.

Scouting has an important role in the lives of today’s youth. Scouting promotes the importance of values such as integrity, honesty, responsibility, patriotism, courtesy, perseverance, cooperation, tolerance, teamwork, leadership and respect for community, nature and spirituality. In the 2008-2009 Scouting year, for the first time in a quarter of a century, membership in Scouting across Canada has increased. We are working hard so that more youth have the opportunity to benefit from a Scouting experience. As the organization grows, more and more youth in need of financial assistance are identified.

Our mission is to provide communities with the tools and support they need to teach children to play and dance to traditional old time and bluegrass music. We serve more than 45 after school JAM programs throughout Appalachia, and help rural communities develop their own music education programs.

Harmony & Healing artists use Zoom to deliver professional live musical performances for patients and their loved ones wherever they may be in the world. Harmony & Healing performances lift spirits and take patients’ and their caretakers minds off their challenges with music. Anyone who is invited, anywhere in the world can share in a Harmony & Healing “Virtual Visit”. We can even provide a recording of the event for posterity.Harmony & Healing is not formal “music therapy”, but rather a soulful, connective journey into the most pleasant memories and associations of patient’s lives. Music lowers stress levels, brings about positive associations, speeds healing, and brings happiness to patient’s lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Body Wisdom, Inc.'s mission is to spread InterPlay. InterPlay is a global social movement dedicated to ease, connection, human sustainability and play. It is an active, creative way to unlock the wisdom of the body. This 20-year-old system is based in a series of incremental "forms" that lead participants to movement and stories, silence and song.
