Through the discovery of emerging talent, the commissioning new work, and the creation of a training base for directors, Second Stage reflects the diverse city and the world we live in today and reaches an ever-growing audience through its Broadway runs, national tours and regional productions.

Inspiring excellence in the lives of the children of the Highbridge community through their participation in music. Highbridge Voices is an extended-day music and academic program designed to inspire excellence in the lives of children. Founded in 1998, the organization serves the Highbridge neighborhood of the South Bronx, historically part of one of the most impoverished Congressional districts in the United States. Using a rigorous choral experience as a springboard, Highbridge Voices fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment in the youth of the community through high-quality musical experiences, academic support and enrichment, and a foundation of values geared to prepare each child for success in grade school, college, and life.

We, the Society of the Third Street Music School Settlement, believe that a knowledge and appreciation of music and the arts is fundamental to the development of each individual and that the arts provide unique opportunities for cultural exchange and community understanding. Hot Crowd is a young modern dance company whose goal is to stimulate and inspire dancers and non-dancers alike through innovative movement, community interaction, and accessibility in order to strengthen and spread the art of dance in the Chicagoland area and beyond.
