The Museum of Sonoma County (MSC) engages and inspires our diverse community with art and history exhibitions, collections, and public programs that are inclusive, educational, and relevant.

Los Altos History Museum gathers and presents stories and artifacts that bridge the past and the present to challenge establish narratives by fostering the creative energy of staff and volunteers, producing engaging education exhibits and programs. Founded in 1977 as a grassroots community volunteer organization, we have grown over the last 45 years to be a mission-driven organization working to help residents of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, and Cupertino make sense of our changing world and our own place in it. Our vision is to be the premier local center for creating a sense of belonging for everyone living and working in the area across multiple generations and multiple ethnicities. The mission of the National Medal of Honor Museum and its attendant education center is to commemorate the stories of our Medal of Honor recipients, unite Americans around what it means to be patriotic, and inspire us to find the hero within ourselves. At a time when Americans yearn for common ground, visitors will appreciate the deeds our best and bravest have done in defense of our liberty and the virtue of putting service over self.

The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) enriches our world by collecting, preserving, and making accessible an astonishing variety of musical instruments and performance videos from every country in the world. MIM offers guests a welcoming and fun experience, incomparable interactive technology, dynamic programming, and exceptional musical performances. MIM fosters appreciation of the world's diverse cultures by showing how we innovate, adapt, and learn from each other to create music—the language of the soul.

We work to preserve the cultures of the Native Americans indigenous to Texas and northern Mexico while maintaining our covenant with sacred sites.

Brandywine Battlefield Park serves the educational needs of the public through the preservation of the cultural landscape and the interpretation of the largest single day battle of the American Revolution. The Brandywine Battlefield Park Associates, a non-profit communitybased organization, supports and assists the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission by conducting the daily operations of the site.

We inspire people to engage in and celebrate the Shaker Heights story and its impact on the region...past, present, and future. We welcome visitors from around the world who seek to learn about the Shakers of North Union, the garden city suburb developed by the Van Sweringens and the early peaceful racial integration of the city from 1957. We produce permanent and temporary historical exhibits in our 1910 residence, one of the first houses built as part of the new Shaker Village. Our Lissauer Art Gallery features art produced by Northeast Ohio artists. Our Elizabeth Nord Research Library is open by appointment. We are also part of the Ohio History Connection as well as being one of the few Shaker communities open to the public on the National Parks Service's Shaker Trail.
