The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

The Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College is a not-for-profit, teaching museum that seeks toenhance lives through inspirational and engaging art experiences for all. It is the largest and onlynationally accredited visual arts organization in Polk County and the only Smithsonian Affiliate artmuseum in Central Florida.

TO OPERATE AS A MUSEUM OF ROAD TRANSPORTATION, VEHICLES, ARTIFACTS, ROADSIDE CULTURE, ALTERNATIVE PROPULSION, AND VEHICLE BUILDERS FOCUSED ON PENNSYLVANIA AND THE GREATER DELAWARE VALLEY; AS WELL AS THE HISTORIC VEHICLES BUILT BY JEREMIAH SWEINHART'S CARRIAGE FACTORY 1872-1914 AND BY PAUL HAFER'S BOYERTOWN AUTO BODY WORKS 1914-1990 IN THE HISTORIC INDUSTRIAL AGE FACTORY BUILDINGS WHICH NOW HOUSE THE COLLECTION.

The Foundation's mission is two-fold: Preservation - to conserve, protect, and maintain Monticello in a manner which leaves it enhanced and unimpaired for future generations; and, Education - to interpret and present Thomas Jefferson to the widest possible audiences, including scholars and the general public.

The purpose of the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Foundation, Inc. is to support the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center's mission to inspire conservation of the marine environment through education, research and sustainable practices.Over 650,000 people from surrounding communities and around the world visit the Aquarium annually.

USCHS is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, 501(c)(3)organization chartered by Congress to educate the public about the Capitol and the Congress. The Connecticut Audubon Society conserves Connecticut’s environment through science-based education and advocacy focused on the state’s bird populations and habitats. Founded in 1898, the Connecticut Audubon Society operates nature facilities in Fairfield, Milford, Glastonbury, Pomfret, Hampton, and Sherman, a center in Old Lyme, and an EcoTravel office in Essex. Connecticut Audubon manages 20 wildlife sanctuaries encompassing almost 3,300 acres of open space in Connecticut, and educates over 200,000 children and adults annually. Connecticut Audubon is an independent organization, not affiliated with any national or governmental group. Connecticut Audubon Society’s scientists, educators, citizen scientists, and volunteers work to preserve birds and their environments in Connecticut. Our work includes sanctuary management, advocacy, environmental education and activities at our centers, scientific studies, and our annual Connecticut State of the Birds report.

MACLA is an inclusive contemporary arts space grounded in the Chicano/Latino experience that incubates new visual, literary and performance art in order to engage people in civic dialogue and community transformation.
