To ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. The mission of Gilda's Club is accomplished by bringing people with cancer out of the isolation that often accompanies diagnosis and treatment and into a supportive community with others who have similar concerns and issues. The goal is to provide a free, non-residential gathering place, offering support groups, workshops and social events for people with cancer, their family and friends.

To provide mentorship and chamber music education primarily to young people, aged 7-18, through the formation of small ensembles who present outstanding performances of chamber music masterworks, with the purpose of developing the audiences and artists of the future.

ERNI is committed to creating events involving the literacy and the arts for children in northern Nevada. Nevada tops the list of least educated states in America. It's time to rethink what's essential to our children's development. We want to transform the idea of literacy and the arts in northern Nevada, and show that they are not a luxury, they are not an extravagance, they are not elitist. Clowns Without Borders defends the right to play. For 25 years, we've inspired resilience through laughter with people in refugee camps, conflict zones, and crises. As clowns, we SEE the people we’re performing for. In fact, we're performing WITH them! Together with audience members, we twist our bodies, we make funny faces, we juggle ridiculous items, and above all, we laugh. Our clowns aren’t solving geopolitics, preventing global conflict, or taking away trauma. We’re simply showing up — and showing people that they matter enough to laugh, play, and have an extraordinary day.

At the Children's Cancer Association (CCA) we empower all seriously ill children to express themselves, to play, and to make meaningful connections by enriching their treatment experience and improving their well-being with joy-based programs. Every moment is precious for seriously ill children and their families. Each year, we reach nearly 40,000 hospitalized children across the country — inviting them to sing, laugh, and play out loud — in order to find joy during life’s most challenging moments. Offered at no cost, our JoyRx Music, Nature and Mentorship programs prioritize the emotional well-being of hospitalized kids.
