The mission of the Bahamas Resilience Center is to promote healthy adaptation and growth in the face of change, challenge and stress, through the provision of education, wellness, therapeutic services and opportunities for connection to individuals, families, and the community as a whole.

Fundacion RurUrbana - Mujeres de Frente is a feminist collective based Quito-Ecuador. Since 2004 the collective has created a community of women that comes together in cooperation and care. There, women from different socio-economic backgrounds, who join on the premise that 'together we care for each-other'. Through different collective ventures, the organization aims to find better economic possibilities for women, their children and the families they support.

Our Mission is to provide institutional and financial support, facilitating positive correlation within the educational and social projects in order to reinforce their commitment with those who live at the exclusion boundaries, and therefore, collaborating in the construction of more human and sustainable world full of Peace.

LOKA HITHAM MAMA KARANEEYAM (little for self, everything else for society) Hindu Seva Pratishthana (HSP) is committed to the upliftment of the under-served and the people with special needs without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or religion. Through service HSP aims to bring about a transformation in the society where people and communities will be self-reliant. The instruments of this change are Sevavratis - young men and women volunteers - many of whom dedicate their lives fully to the noble cause of serving the society in this area. Sevavratis, in the course of their training at HSP, realize, imbibe qualities like patriotism, perseverance and humility, and acquire the skills in working areas like Rural Development, Eradication of untouchability, Drive against alcoholism, Literacy, Child Education, Common Health Education, Individual and Family Counselling, Propagating Yoga and Spoken Samskruta language, Rehabilitation of the Mentally Retarded and Physically handicapped and Street Children, and Environmental protection. Since its inception in 1980, HSP has been constantly expanding its activities, covering more people in towns and villages, and ensuring the co-operation and participation of local people so that the services are effective and benefits are long lasting.

RASA- Ramana Sunritya Aaalya is an organization founded in 1989 by Dr.Ambika Kameshwar The relentless enthusiasm of Educators, Child Development Specialists, Psychologists, Counsellors, Visual and Performing Arts Specialists under the able leadership of Dr Ambika Kameshwar from 1989, has been able to strive hard to achieve Empowerment to all through Unifying Experience of Indian Theatre Art techniques which helps in fostering holistic development in individuals with mental and physical challenges. By Definition, and by nature, the Theatre Arts are inclusive and therefore foster Holistic Development without differentiation. They provide a space that breaks barriers of every kind, including those caused by differences in intellectual or physical ability, and fosters Self Exploration Dr. Ambika Kameshwar & her team have been successful in transforming the lives of more than 10,000 children & adults from both under privileged differently able backgrounds. Currently RASA has a full time dedicated team of 25 staff members, including all of the above mentioned experts and all of them have undergone intensive training in RASA's area of work - namely Life Skills Training and Holistic Empowerment through The Theatre Arts - as RASA provides a one year University Recognized Training Course for its Trainers. Our work of the past two and half decades has been well recognized and we have received several Awards for our work , including the 'For The Sake Of Honor' which is the highest Award of the Rotary , The Titles of Bharata Kala Ratna , Seva Kala Bharathi , Bharathi Praskar , Sathya Seva Sundaram Samskara Ratna and the prestigious Kalaimamani Award from the Govt. of Tamil Nadu Currently RASA has a full time dedicated team of 25 staff members and 8 to 10 volunteers helping on a regular basis. The NGO sustains itself by donations from individuals, groups of individuals and organizations who believe in Empowerment to all. This is an appeal to you to make RASA reach new heights in the ever growing need for assistance There are various Ways you can help like, sponsor a child, a teacher, monthly rent, stationary expenses, materials for vocational training, stipend for a special employee or help us to build a corpus. North West Democratic School (t/a Sligo Sudbury School) was founded in 2017 to address the growing need for an alternative to mainstream education for children and teenagers. We provide an environment for self-directed education for children aged 5-18 years, supported by a muti-discipliary staff team. We currently employ 9 part-time staff members. Standardised education and the curriculum taught in schools today do not adequately support diversity and inclusion. The emphasis on competition, the one size fits all approach, the drive for higher standards of achievement and performance effectively exclude a large portion of the population from the possibility to succeed, and discourage the qualities of collaboration, empathy and kindness that are so needed in our society. Our social mission is to address this issue by giving young people autonomy in a supportive learning environment and fostering the most volitional and high quality forms of motivation and engagement for activities, including enhanced performance, persistence, and creativity. We are a democratically run organisation which provides children with a real voice in their own education and the running of the school, fostering empowerment and a sense of personal responsibility. Students are not obliged to follow a set curriculum but are fully supported in designing their own learning experiences, enabling them to grow in confidence and take on challenges that are timely and at the right level for them. This model of education is particularly suited to children who do not fit the confining criteria and standards of mainstream and who are therefore disadvantaged by the system itself as their emotional, social, and learning needs cannot be adequately met within the mainstream model. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where young people can engage in self-directed learning and democracy, where children are free to choose their own learning goals and pursue them at their own pace, while participating in a community of self-governance and justice where each member's voice is equally valued and heard. We believe that there are many approaches to learning and that each child can be supported in their chosen path. We are committed to providing an alternative model of education where children have choice about their learning, freedom to go about their business, and time to explore and create without pressure or constraint. We aim to safeguard an environment where autonomous, self-directed, intrinsically motivated learning can flourish.
