The Connecticut Audubon Society conserves Connecticut’s environment through science-based education and advocacy focused on the state’s bird populations and habitats. Founded in 1898, the Connecticut Audubon Society operates nature facilities in Fairfield, Milford, Glastonbury, Pomfret, Hampton, and Sherman, a center in Old Lyme, and an EcoTravel office in Essex. Connecticut Audubon manages 20 wildlife sanctuaries encompassing almost 3,300 acres of open space in Connecticut, and educates over 200,000 children and adults annually. Connecticut Audubon is an independent organization, not affiliated with any national or governmental group. Connecticut Audubon Society’s scientists, educators, citizen scientists, and volunteers work to preserve birds and their environments in Connecticut. Our work includes sanctuary management, advocacy, environmental education and activities at our centers, scientific studies, and our annual Connecticut State of the Birds report.

Art for the Isolated curates and offers substantive works of art to nurture connection between artists and people isolated by illness, displacement, and loss.

The Arts & Business Council leverages and unites the unique resources of the arts and business communities to create a thriving, sustainable creative culture in Nashville. What We Do: We create mutually beneficial partnerships between arts and business. We provide direct services, key opportunities, and education to the creative community to help them master the business of art. We inspire workplace creativity in businesses to demonstrate the impact of the arts through tangible benefits and develop life-long arts participants and supporters.

The foundation preserves and promotes the Waldensian people’s cultural and religious heritage by operating a museum, maintaining genealogical records, and offering exhibits and educational programs about Waldensian history and faith.

WAMC is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents to "furnish, prepare and present non-profit and non-commercial educational, instructional and cultural radio programs and also non-profit and non-commercial programs (including without limitation, chamber and folk music programs and forums on public affairs) for live audiences which may also be broadcast."WAMC, Northeast Public Radio, chartered by the NYS Board of Regents in 1981, is a non-commercial, public radio station. With stations and translators in 28 locations throughout the Northeast, WAMC's listening area reaches parts of seven states, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire; as well as parts of Canada.
