The mission of Wildlands Network is to protect North America’s native animals and plants by connecting wildlife habitats through scientifically sound action; networks of partners, allies and individuals; and innovative motivational communications.

Wild Africa Foundation's Mission is fourfold:Enhance public awareness of the general state of and specific threats to African wildlife.Raise funds to provide financial support for targeted programs which preserve and protect wildlife while promoting community welfare and engagement.Target support to established groups within Southern Africa that have demonstrated success on the ground and have an adequate base of local support.Operate a financially sound and accountable organization with minimum administrative costs.

EBLTP (Edisto Beach Loggerhead Turtle Project) is the official sea turtle preservation team for endangered sea turtles in the Town of Edisto Beach. Established in 1982, the organization is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit in South Carolina and obtains annual authorization from the SC DNR to perform conservation activities. Its fifty-some volunteers train extensively to professionally assist nesting turtles, stranded turtles, and hatchlings.​ You’ll see us each day at dawn and often in the evenings walking the beach locating nests, protecting them with stakes, tape, and fencing as well as conducting inventories on recently hatched nests. Authorized Turtle Patrol members wear shirts saying “Volunteer” or “Turtle Patrol.”

THE CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON FOUNDATION has been established to promote and further the legacy of Captain Paul Watson. To focus on the protection and conservation of the Ocean through direct intervention supported by education, documentation, research activities and partnerships with other NGOs, governments and international institutions like the United Nations. It will be made up of a small team that will prevent any future interference or dilution of the overall vision of Paul's legacy by keeping management and bureaucracy minimal.

The Roar Foundation, founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1983, exists solely to support The Shambala Preserve. Our mission is to educate the public about the dangers of private ownership of exotic animals. Huge numbers of exotic dangerous animals are bred and sold in the United States for illegal purposes. Private ownership presents a grave danger to the public and is cruel and unfair to these animals. More stringent legislation is needed to prohibit breeding and selling. We are actively involved in legislating this on federal and state levels. Prior to 1983 I had been rescuing the exotic felines since 1972. Up to the present, The Shambala Preserve has given sanctuary to over 235 exotic felines - lion, tiger, cougar, black and spotted leopard, serval, bobcat, Asian leopard cat, snow leopard, cheetah, lynx, tigon, liger and African elephant. All have come to the Preserve after confiscation by authorities, such as California Fish and Game, U.S. Department of Agriculture, SPCA and Humane Societies. They are from roadside zoos and private citizens who realize they have purchased an animal they can no longer handle.

Utah's Hogle Zoo has a rich, 100 year history. Guests come to appreciate and understand the animal kingdom - Nurturing respect for nature. It all began with an Asian elephant named Princess Alice.  100 years later, Utah's Hogle Zoo boasts over 800 animals - including three African elephants, Amur tigers and a polar bear. Beyond being a wonderful outing for families (the Zoo is one of the top paid-for attractions in the state), Hogle Zoo strives to offer educational opportunities through interactive exhibits and hands-on learning. Hogle Zoo is also committed to conservation and fostering a love of the animal kingdom and its environment. Just as you've likely discovered, trying to feed your own family, it can get expensive! Rare uses insights from behavioral science and design thinking to encourage individuals and their communities to adopt behaviors that benefit people and nature-and ensure that change lasts. Our programs are based on the cumulative power of individual action and the exponential power of those actions to inspire others. Rare trains local leaders to lead change, leaving a legacy of increased capacity and a sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride in conservation.

The Freshwater Trust protects and restores freshwater ecosystems. Founded in 1983, The Freshwater Trust accelerates the pace and scale of freshwater restoration through the use of science, technology and incentive-based solutions to restore rivers on a timeline that matters. With headquarters in Portland, Oregon, The Freshwater Trust continues to grow its impact and currently works in Oregon, Idaho and California. In 2013, the Trust received the U.S. Water Prize for its innovative solutions to restore rivers and streams in the Pacific Northwest.

The New England Aquarium is a catalyst for global change through public engagement, commitment to marine animal conservation, leadership in education, innovative scientific research, and effective advocacy for vital and vibrant oceans.

Established in 1986 by Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas, OFI’s mission is to support the conservation, protection, and understanding of orangutans and their rainforest habitat while caring for wild-born, ex-captive orangutan orphans as they make their way back to the forest. OFI is dedicated to ensuring the survival of biologically-viable orangutan populations in the wild and safeguarding the welfare of orangutanswherever they are found. Our field work takes place in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo and involves a multi-pronged approach, including: (1) animal rescue, sanctuary, rehabilitation, repatriation and protection; (2) conservation education; (3) orangutan research; and (4) habitat protection, acquisition and restoration. In order to preserve forest ecosystems we empower local communities in Borneo through economic development and education initiatives. We raise awareness of orangutan and forest issues throughout the world through field research, the publication of books, scientific reports, articles, and newsletters, as well as lectures, conferences, events, workshops, and seminars.

Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) is dedicated to the mission of preserving, protecting, and enhancing the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA). Our mission encompasses a commitment to safeguarding the unique ecosystem of the area, fostering a deep connection between people and nature, and supporting the National Park Service in its endeavors. This includes a focus on youth education, scientific research, improvement of park facilities, community stewardship, and the preservation of indigenous cultural resources. This vision is rooted in the belief that sustainable practices and community engagement are key to preserving the ecological and cultural richness of the Santa Monica Mountains for future generations.
