EBLTP (Edisto Beach Loggerhead Turtle Project) is the official sea turtle preservation team for endangered sea turtles in the Town of Edisto Beach. Established in 1982, the organization is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit in South Carolina and obtains annual authorization from the SC DNR to perform conservation activities. Its fifty-some volunteers train extensively to professionally assist nesting turtles, stranded turtles, and hatchlings.​ You’ll see us each day at dawn and often in the evenings walking the beach locating nests, protecting them with stakes, tape, and fencing as well as conducting inventories on recently hatched nests. Authorized Turtle Patrol members wear shirts saying “Volunteer” or “Turtle Patrol.”

THE CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON FOUNDATION has been established to promote and further the legacy of Captain Paul Watson. To focus on the protection and conservation of the Ocean through direct intervention supported by education, documentation, research activities and partnerships with other NGOs, governments and international institutions like the United Nations. It will be made up of a small team that will prevent any future interference or dilution of the overall vision of Paul's legacy by keeping management and bureaucracy minimal.

Utilizing the expertise of the world’s premier cat biologists, Panthera develops and implements global strategies for the most imperiled large cats: tigers, lions, jaguars, snow leopards, cheetahs, pumas, and leopards. Representing the most comprehensive effort of its kind, Panthera partners with local and international NGOs, scientific institutions, local communities, governments around the globe, and citizens who want to help ensure a future for wild cats. Panthera’s grants program, the Small Cat Action Fund (SCAF), additionally supports conservation and research initiatives on many of the 31 smaller wild cat species around the globe.

Our mission is to protect and preserve the African elephant.Through habitat protection, community outreach, and the rescue and hand-rearing of young elephant orphans, Elephant Havens aims to become a leading voice in wildlife conservation awareness and wildlife protection. We envision a world in which African elephants and local communities co-exist without conflict, and where young elephant orphans are saved and reintroduced into the wild.

ATR provides for the protection and education about all species of tortoise and turtle. We offer permanent sanctuary to abandoned tortoises. Foundlings that cannot be adopted because of ill health or because they are in danger of extinction remain in the care of American Tortoise Rescue for the remainder of their lives.
