The Philadelphia Zoo, America's first zoo, is dedicated to its mission of conservation, science, education, and recreation. The core purpose is to advance discovery, understanding, and stewardship of the natural world through compelling exhibition and interpretation of living animals and plants. As an educational and recreational resource, the Zoo serves over 1.2 million people every year. It also provides special educational programs for over 560,000 children, teachers, and other adults. With the Zoo's broad reach and diverse constituency, the Zoo's mix of visitors mirrors the diversity of the local community.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center rescues, rehabilitates, and releases stranded or injured marine mammals and sea turtles along the New Jersey coast; it also collects stranding data, supports research, and provides public education through its Sea Life Museum and outreach programs.

"Fellow Mortals is more than a place; it is a living philosophy based on the belief that encouraging compassion in humans toward all life brings out the finest aspects of our humanity." We believe that individual life is important and do not support the practice of euthanizing healthy animals to limit numbers or conserve resources, i.e. management by euthanasia. We provide care for all species of wild birds from eagle to sparrow, as well as for non-predatory mammal species. In order to meet the increasing need for services, we continue to work to expand our facilities and staff.

Pheasants Forever's mission is to conserve pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, educations, and conservation advocacy

Infinity Ranch - Wild Mustang Rescue rescues and provides a sanctuary for wild American mustangs that have been rounded up, while educating the public and supporting conservation efforts to protect mustang herds. The organization describes giving rescued mustangs a safe, long‑term home and promoting awareness of their conservation needs.

Newhouse Wildlife Rescue provides care for orphaned and injured wildlife. We are also committed to providing education to the public to aid in wildlife conservation efforts.

Orangutan Outreach's mission is to protect orangutans in their native forests of Borneo and Sumatra while providing care for orphaned and displaced orangutans until they can be returned to their natural environment. If they cannot be released, we will do everything in our power to ensure they have a life of dignity and the best possible long-term care. We seek to raise funds and promote public awareness of orangutan conservation issues by collaborating with partner organizations around the world.
