The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) is a non-profit, tax exempt organization providing humane care and services for horses in need of lifetime homes, and in crisis, through rehabilitation, training, adoption, lifelong follow-up, or lifetime sanctuary; and offers therapeutic equine opportunities for children, and adults.
We place dogs with veterans and first responders. Our focus is on training dogs to help alleviate symptoms of post traumatic stress and service connected challenges. We use rescues dogs whenever possible to help 2 lives at a time.
We are a small mother-daughter sanctuary who has helped animals in need more than twenty years privately in our community before becoming a 501(c)3 nonprofit sanctuary in 2013. We give a safe loving place for animals to live among friends and family. Our first priority is to the needs of the animals who reside here. The TADSAW (Train A Dog - Save A Warrior) mission is to provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service Dog, as designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, for Any wounded Veteran Service Member (Active Duty, Retired, Discharged), surviving with Military Induced Anxiety Depression Syndrome (MIADS), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in order to restore and improve the Veteran's Quality of Life with a canine 'Battle Buddy', at no charge to the Veteran or their family.
To renew the lives of Veterans and First Responders with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and/or Military Sexual Trauma through the training and placement of highly trained service dogs.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. Ninna's Road to Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue and re-home primarily small-breed dogs, to include senior dogs and dogs in kill-shelters and retired breeder dogs; to provide assistance to pet owners needing to re-home their pet via our Adoption Assistance Program; provide responsible pet ownership education and help the animals at local and surrounding animal control facilities.
