Broken Shovels Farm is a sanctuary for homeless, abused, neglected, used, slaughterbound animals, a place of healing, growth, and education for all people who wish to see the world become a better place for all animals, human and non-human. We host events to connect farm animals to their human friends, and vice versa, and plan to operate a small non-violence and outdoor education based school for three to five-year-olds.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters

The primary purpose of the Friends of TAS is to reduce the intake of shelter animals through pet education and sterilization with an end goal of reducing the need of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation and lessening the burden of government.Our objective is to increase the positive interaction between pet owners and the shelter to encourage sterilization of unaltered pets. Collaboration between rescue organizations and the shelter is key to finding homes for unclaimed adoptable pets.

Lions Tigers & Bears is dedicated to providing a safe haven to abused and abandoned exotic animals and to inspiring an educational forum to end the exotic animal trade. As a state and federally licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are a NO KILL, NO BREED sanctuary that allows the animals in our care to live out their lives with dignity in a caring and safe environment.

To promote, further and enhance all cat life. We promote it through adoptions and our unique Senior Kitty program matching seniors with older cats, we further it by testing all cats entering our program and enhance cats be promoting responsible pet ownship by spaying/neutering all pets.

We rescue unwanted, abused and neglected purebred Weimaraner dogs and provide them with medical and behavioral care and place them in permanent new homes.

R.O.A.R. is a community funded and supported shelter for dogs and cats.  It was established in 2005 and receives no state or federal aid.  We are a small shelter that accepts surrendered animals as well as abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in our community.  In addition, when we have capacity we accept dogs rescued from high-kill shelters in other parts of the country.  We also recognize the need and importance of bringing education about animal welfare into our community.  One of our target groups is children - we work with local schools to develop fun and productive projects that build awareness about shelter animals and the need for compassion.

The Bucks County SPCA assists animals in need and prevents suffering through rescue, re-homing, cruelty investigation and prosecution, and community outreach. We serve all of Bucks County, Pennsylvania from our two animal care centers located in Lahaska and Quakertown.

The Mission of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches, Incorporated is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay and neuter and other medical services for companion animals, and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.

Our mission is to offer quality of life to senior dogs of various breeds, to assist in rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of dogs in need, with a focus on Newfoundland dogs, and to provide humane education as related to care and life quality of animals.

Dominique’s Smiles is our mission to bring smiles and love into everyone’s life. We visit hospitals, nursing facilities, Ronald McDonald Houses, private homes, schools and wherever else needed to bring hope and sunshine into children and adults’ lives through an exceptional mini horse named Dominique.
