To promote, further and enhance all cat life. We promote it through adoptions and our unique Senior Kitty program matching seniors with older cats, we further it by testing all cats entering our program and enhance cats be promoting responsible pet ownship by spaying/neutering all pets.

We rescue unwanted, abused and neglected purebred Weimaraner dogs and provide them with medical and behavioral care and place them in permanent new homes.

R.O.A.R. is a community funded and supported shelter for dogs and cats.  It was established in 2005 and receives no state or federal aid.  We are a small shelter that accepts surrendered animals as well as abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in our community.  In addition, when we have capacity we accept dogs rescued from high-kill shelters in other parts of the country.  We also recognize the need and importance of bringing education about animal welfare into our community.  One of our target groups is children - we work with local schools to develop fun and productive projects that build awareness about shelter animals and the need for compassion.

The Bucks County SPCA assists animals in need and prevents suffering through rescue, re-homing, cruelty investigation and prosecution, and community outreach. We serve all of Bucks County, Pennsylvania from our two animal care centers located in Lahaska and Quakertown.

Lifelong Friends (formerly Lago Vista PAWS) is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter dedicated to preventing animal suffering, rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned dogs and cats and finding good homes for these animals, educating the public about responsible pet ownership, and encouraging pet owners to spay and neuter their animals.

WE ARE DEDICATED TO RESCUING HOMELESS, NEGLECTED OR ABANDONED ANIMALS FROM HIGH KILL SHELTERS, PUPPY MILLS, OR FROM OWNERS WHO CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM. WE PROVIDE THE ANIMALS WITH LOVING FOSTER CARE, VETERINARY TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION UNTIL WE ARE ABLE TO PAIR THEM WITH COMPATIBLE AND LOVING FOREVER HOMES. AT TIMES WE ALSO OFFER PERMANENT SANTUARY TO THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS THAT ARE CONSIDERED UNADOPTABLE.
