Our Mission is to protect the health and safety of animals by providing charitable assistance in our no-kill shelter for all animals. We will be the over-flow for all City and County shelters, while assisting traditional rescues with medical and foster programs. Bestow daily care, rehabilitate homeless, displaced, or injured animals; to find such animals’ good homes; and to educate the public as to how to bring about a time when the shelters are only empty cages and unwanted animals will never be destroyed needlessly. FUR & FEATHER ANIMAL SANCTUARY Our goal is EMPTY CAGES and FOREVER HOMES FUR & FEATHER ANIMAL SANCTUARY a 501(c)(3) is organized exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes, more specifically for helping homeless and un-wanted animals with medical care, adoption in a no-kill safe environment, fight against animal cruelty, educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter, the basic care of animals, and the rehabilitation of wildlife. We have only just begun and need your support - Our goal is to build the first fully solar powered 65 acre no-kill sanctuary in California to be the over-flow for the city and county shelters, while assisting traditional rescues with medical and a foster program. We are currently fundraising to buy land and build homes where animals can live in healthy surroundings until they are adopted. This environment will protect and allow all animals to live to see their full potential~

We seek out and take in the animals who no other organization will help or would simply euthanize because they are too expensive to heal. The mission of the SPCA is to create a caring and kind community that encourages fair and humane treatment of all creatures. Our knowledgeable, caring, and open-minded team of staff and volunteers achieves that mission through proactive efforts to address the current status of animals in our community, education of adults and children, rescue and sheltering of animals in need, and placement of animals into appropriate homes.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), is a non-profit organization created in July 2005 to take over the operations of the city shelter and to work directly with Baltimore City Animal Control. We take in homeless, neglected, and unwanted animals in Baltimore City. BARCS' mission is to accept and care for all animals in need and promote responsible pet ownership for a more humane community in Baltimore City.

Berkshire Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, open-admission animal support organization. Our mission is to ensure the compassionate care, treatment and placement of companion animals, while promoting and improving the welfare of all animals through education and outreach.

A Better Life – Pet Rescue, Inc. helps to promote the adoption of rescued animals throughout Central Florida. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance through rescue and rehabilitation.Our mission is to rescue animals from unfortunate situations and empower members of the community to foster animals until the pet is ready for placement in their forever home. We work with a few foster homes who take in animals that are neglected, abused and in desperate need of help. We will also work with families who have chosen to rehome their pet if they are willing to foster until the best home is found. We are all volunteers who believe that no matter how small a group, you can always make a difference.

The organization advocates for animals and the people who care for them through compassionate care and support services. Their initiatives extend beyond sheltering, focusing on life-saving services, connecting families with homeless animals, and addressing barriers to pet ownership. Additionally, they emphasize enhancing the human-animal bond and innovative solutions to tackle contemporary challenges in animal welfare.

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is committed to making our community a place in which all animals are valued. This means keeping them safe from abuse, neglect and other harmful situations. We investigate all signs of cruelty, neglect, and abuse to all types of animals. This includes responding to calls regarding sick or injured animals.
