The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is committed to making our community a place in which all animals are valued. This means keeping them safe from abuse, neglect and other harmful situations. We investigate all signs of cruelty, neglect, and abuse to all types of animals. This includes responding to calls regarding sick or injured animals.

Labrador Rescuers (LR) is a 100% volunteer-based nonprofit, established in 2004 to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray, abandoned and unwanted Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes, including shelter dogs and dogs relinquished by their owners because of age, health, financial or other reasons. LR is known for rescuing senior dogs and dogs who have medical, surgical and other special needs that shelters, other rescues or owners are unable or unwilling to address. LR provides for those needs with the goal of making it possible for every dog to be adopted into a loving forever home. LR has saved over 5,700 dogs since its formation.

Mission Blue is an initiative of the Sylvia Earle Alliance (S.E.A.) to explore and care for the ocean. We draw inspiration from the vision of our founder, Dr. Sylvia Earle, to ignite public support for the protection of Hope Spots – special places that are vital to the health of the ocean, the blue heart of our planet. By uniting a coalition of partners from around the globe, we are committed to inspiring an upwelling of public awareness, access and support for a worldwide network of marine protected areas ranging from the seamounts of the high seas to shallow sunlit reefs, and to supporting a significant increase in ocean protection from less than three percent today to 20% by the year 2020.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to saving lives of abandoned companion animals, promoting adoption into loving homes and offering education programs and support services that inspire and strengthen the human-animal bond.

Founded in 2006, Dogs Without Borders rescues 400 dogs per year from high kill shelters in the Los Angeles to help reduce the euthanized rate, and also rescues a small percentage of dogs from around the world.

Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on rescuing abused and neglected animals - locally, internationally and throughout the Asian Dog Meat Trade - rehabilitating them and finding them their forever homes. The Ocean Foundation (TOF) is a unique community foundation with a mission to support, strengthen, and promote those organizations dedicated to reversing the trend of destruction of ocean environments around the world. Our slogan is "Tell Us What You Want To Do For The Ocean, We Will Take Care Of The Rest." We work with a community of donors who care about the coasts and oceans. In this manner, we grow the financial resources available to support marine conservation in order to promote healthy ocean ecosystems and benefit the human communities that depend on them. We operate using a well-established business model (the community foundation) to serve donors and partners interested in marine conservation. TOF does this by increasing the capacity of conservation organizations, hosting projects and funds, and supporting those working to improve the health of ocean species globally. To do this, we raise millions of dollars each year to support marine conservation. These funds come from individuals, corporate donors, private foundations, and governments. We meet our mission through five lines of business: Fiscal Sponsorship Fund services, Field of Interest grantmaking Funds, green Resort Partnerships, Committee and Donor Advised Funds, and Consulting services.

Hudson River Sloop Clearwater's mission is to preserve and protect the Hudson River. Inspiring, educating, and activating millions of people for nearly 50 years, member-supported Clearwater continues to lead the environmental movement, working to pass landmark legislation, delivering award-winning education programs, building grassroots support, and staging renowned musical celebrations. The sloop Clearwater offers programs on the vessel for schools and the general public that focus on the history and ecology of the Hudson, to date over 500,000 people have sailed aboard the sloop. Each year, over 15,000 people experience a Clearwater program - which have won multiple awards and served as models models for similar shipboard programs around the country.

Second Chance Rescue NYC’s mission is to reduce animal overpopulation in shelters, rescue and rehabilitate critically injured and neglected animals, and connect the community to services that enable animals to remain in their homes.

MarAlliance explores, enables and inspires conservation action for threatened marine wildlife and their critical habitats with dependent communities.

The mission of PAWS Atlanta is to build a community of caring, by people helping pets and pets helping people. We are a private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1966, originally as the DeKalb Humane Society. We provide love, nutrition, medical care and basic training to enrich the lives of homeless animals until permanent, safe homes can be found.
