Another Awesome Day is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to teen suicide awareness and prevention. We believe in the power of community, creativity, and holistic wellness practices to help teens share their stories, connect in real life, and thrive in an increasingly digital age.
From LA Fire Relief to Digital Resilience: Crypto Contigo Goes Live When wildfires devastated Los Angeles in January 2025, Another Awesome Day's relief efforts revealed something critical: communities needed more than immediate aid—they needed pathways to long-term digital and economic resilience. That insight sparked a partnership with Univision Foundation. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we're proud to share what we've built together. What We've Launched: Tech Tuesday Bilingual Educational Shorts- We've completed five episodes demonstrating our model: culturally-responsive technology education delivered in English and Spanish, covering blockchain basics to financial literacy. These shorts showcase our capabilities and prove the concept works. Your donations fund the creation and distribution of more content like this. The Crypto Contigo Digital Art Collection - 21 diverse artists from impacted communities now have economic opportunity through Web3. All funds raised from NFT sales and Pledge donations support program expansion and content creation. Collect at https://www.univision.org/crypto/ Teens4LA Student Leaders- Your support funded youth advocates going through our MMJ advocacy program, a collaboration between Univision Foundation, Another Awesome Day, and Global Changemakers, giving young people real tools for community leadership. Where We're Going: This initiative builds toward Another Awesome Day Youth Basel—our flagship program launching during Miami Art Week at Dorsey Memorial Library. With Univision Foundation's reach to 60 million Hispanic viewers, we're not just creating programs—we're building infrastructure for equitable digital futures. Support Crypto Contigo to help multicultural communities access the technology and resources they need to lead, not just survive, in our digital world. https://www.pledge.to/crypto-contigo
We're excited to share an inspiring development in our mission to empower South Florida youth! Over the summer Another Awesome Day proudly supported The King Carter Youth Foundation organization with their nighttime summer camp, bringing cutting-edge AI and blockchain education directly to young women and men in the Miami Gardens Community. In collaboration with 1st Take Youth Film Program, another dedicated Miami nonprofit and frequent Another Awesome Day collaborator, we created a unique learning experience that bridges traditional film skills with emerging technologies that are reshaping the entertainment industry. This partnership exemplifies the power of community organizations working together to provide forward-thinking education that plants the seeds for the future. Through Another Awesome Day's expertly led activities, our participants gained hands-on experience with technologies that are revolutionizing creative industries: AI-Powered Creativity: Youth learned to create their own AI prompts for character development and script writing, discovering how artificial intelligence can enhance their storytelling abilities Digital Asset Literacy: Participants explored the fundamentals of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and digital assets, understanding how these innovations are changing business and media NFT Marketplace Navigation: Young filmmakers gained exposure to NFT platforms and learned how blockchain intellectual property is transforming media development and ownership Digital Security Awareness: Critical lessons in online safety, including protecting personal information and maintaining privacy in digital spaces This collaboration perfectly complemented the film skill development provided by 1st Take Youth Film Program, bringing revolutionary concepts and practical skills to the forefront of our participants' education. These collaborations ensure our youth receive comprehensive education that prepares them for the rapidly evolving digital landscape. Programs like this summer camp are made possible through your generous contributions to our year-round initiatives. Thank you for supporting a vision that honors King Carter's legacy by preparing South Florida's youth for leadership in tomorrow's world. Together, we're not just empowering youth—we're investing in the future innovators, creators, and leaders of our community.
