Pledge to make a difference, together.
Oncology And Kids (OAK) runs free, year-round quality-of-life and peer-support programs for children affected by cancer — including patients, siblings, and families. Their services center on medically supervised camps (Camp Reach for the Sky), teen retreats, grief support, and wraparound activities designed to help children cope emotionally, build resilience, and restore a sense of normalcy.
There are no barriers at Camp Reach for the Sky. If a childhood cancer patient or sibling want to live out their wildest aspirations and dreams, they are surrounded by full medical, mental health and volunteer counselors to let them act like a kid again.
At Camp Reach for the Sky, childhood cancer patients and siblings can simply be kids, not kids with cancer.

Good Health and Well-Being: At OAK, we are deeply committed to promoting good health and well-being among children facing the challenges of cancer. Our programs provide a holistic approach to healing emotional scars caused by childhood cancer. By offering therapeutic and recreational activities, we contribute to improved mental and emotional well-being, fostering resilience in our young participants. Gender Equality: OAK recognizes the importance of gender equality and inclusivity. We strive to ensure that all children, regardless of gender, have equal access to our programs and opportunities. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion extends to our volunteer leadership and staff, promoting gender equality in leadership roles. Reduced Inequalities: OAK is dedicated to reducing inequalities by addressing the unique needs of children facing cancer. We provide support to vulnerable populations, including low-income families and underserved communities. Our programs tackle the disease's impact equitably, focusing on patients, siblings, and families, ensuring that no child is left behind. Life on Land: While not directly related to biodiversity or ecosystems, our work indirectly contributes to Goal 15 by providing children with the opportunity to connect with nature during our camp programs. These experiences help children develop an appreciation for the environment, fostering a sense of responsibility for preserving life on land. Partnerships for the Goal: Collaboration is at the heart of our mission. OAK actively seeks partnerships with hospitals, organizations, and volunteers to maximize our impact. Through these collaborations, we can leverage resources, share knowledge, and collectively work towards achieving our goal of helping kids and families heal from the emotional scars of childhood cancer.
