Our Mission

The Corporation is organized exclusively to receive and administer funds for the protection of natural resources and charitable and educational purposes as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Code”), including ​ Honoring and protecting the natural resources of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan including, but not limited to, the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club and its surrounding watershed, for nature itself and for the enjoyment of the public, Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club’s members and their families. Rich in meaning and purpose. Conducting all activities incidental or necessary to accomplishing the foregoing purposes or otherwise permitted by Section (c)(3) of the Code.
