Pledge to make a difference, together.
No One Left Behind is the leading national organization dedicated to ensuring that America keeps its promise to U.S. interpreters and employees in Iraq and Afghanistan through the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) programs.
Haji was one of the first Special Forces interpreters in Kunar Province, Afghanistan. He worked with U.S. troops from 2002-2014. He fought alongside Robert James Miller, a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in Afghanistan. After the U.S. withdrawal in August, 2021, Haji was threatened by the Taliban for his work with Americans, so he reached out to No One Left Behind for assistance. No One Left Behind helped Haji escape from Afghanistan and then supported him and his family while they completed visa processing in Pakistan. On March 16, 2022, Haji, his wife, and five children safely arrived in the U.S. They are currently living in the Pacific Northwest.
