Shohola Township Volunteer Fire and Rescue has served the Shohola community protecting life and property since 1922. The department, entirely volunteer based and dispatched only by Pike county 911 center, operates to provide highly trained volunteer fire and rescue personnel throughout Pike County, Pennsylvania and beyond, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
