To reach that goal, Human Rights First leads actions that hold oppressors accountable, free people from injustice, and build institutions that ensure universal rights. Human Rights First, which for more than 40 years has built bipartisan coalitions and worked with front-line activists and lawyers to tackle global challenges, is based in New York, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles.
