The Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation (or Rush) was founded in 1995 by three brothers, media mogul Russell Simmons, artist and activist Danny Simmons and Joseph "Rev. Run" Simmons of Run-DMC fame. Rush is dedicated to overcoming the barriers of access between disenfranchised communities and people of color and the diverse art and culture resources of New York City and its surrounding region. Our interrelated range of programs include free, hands-on arts education for underserved youth ages 2-20 in New York and New Jersey, both in our own spaces during out-of-school time and through weekly residencies in five partner public schools; the goal of these programs is deep learning grounded in art, to build resiliency, life skills and academic performance in at-risk youth. Our Gallery Program maintains two professional galleries, one in Manhattan and the other in Brooklyn, that provide career support, exhibition opportunities and residencies to emerging artists and curators, mostly those of color. Rush Education programs directly serve over 3,000 students annually, and the Rush Gallery program exhibits the work of over 100 artists every year, welcomes over 10,000 gallery visitors annually and serves as a classroom and inspiration source for our students.

Hispanic Federation (HF) is the nation's premier Latino nonprofit membership organization. With a strong foothold in New York, Washington D.C. and states throughout the eastern corridor of the United States including Florida, HF works to uplift millions of Hispanic children, youth and families locally and nationally through the strengthening of Latino nonprofits, public policy advocacy and a portfolio of innovative community programs. Founded in 1990, HF has used its network of Hispanic nonprofits and close linkages with grass roots leaders, media and policymakers to empower and advance the interests of the Hispanic community. HF has gained national recognition and prominence for its work in the areas of education, health, philanthropy, immigration, economic empowerment civic engagement & the environment.

Established in 2005, The GEANCO Foundation saves and transforms lives in Africa. We conduct complex surgical missions and run an innovative program to fight anemia in Nigeria. Through our system of modern, solar-powered rural maternal clinics, we help poor, vulnerable pregnant women safely deliver healthy babies. In addition to donating laptops, tablets, books, medicine and sports facilities to schools, our David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls provides full tuition, healthcare, and social & psychological support to young female survivors of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria. The Tigray Development Association is a member-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in August 1989 in Washington DC. Our primary objective is to contribute to the improvement of the livelihood of the people of Tigray through human resource development and the enhancement of health services. We address the core causes of the problems by fostering self-sufficiency at the community level, empowering Tigrayans as change agents, and developing successful collaborations with local and international communities and partners.

Since 1974, Duke Ellington School of the Arts has provided equitable access to a life-changing arts education for the District's talented youth, regardless of background or ability to a pay. Ellington is the only DC public high school to offer a dual curriculum encompassing professional arts training and academic enrichment. It has a 4-star rating and is one of the highest ranked public high schools in DC with 97% of students graduating on-time and 95% of graduates enrolling in institutions of higher-learning, often receiving over $10 million in scholarships. Our students’ deep commitment to the arts empowers them to succeed academically. The Ellington Fund is a non-profit organization and the the charitable arm of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Herbalife CASA Partners improves the lives of vulnerable children worldwide with access to good nutrition so they can achieve their full potential through the Herbalife Nourishment Foundation (HNF). In 1998, Herbalife founder Mark Hughes built an orphanage in Brazil, named Casa Herbalife. Today HNF provides millions of dollars in funding to 167 orphanages, hospitals, schools, and organizations in more than 59 countries.

Advocates for Children and Families, Inc. (ACF) was founded in 1992 to provide ethical adoption services to children and families. Throughout our 30 years of operation there have been many changes in legislation and advances in the evidence-based social sciences related to adoption, that have influenced our model of practice. One aspect of our work that has never changed is ACF's child-centered approach of prioritizing the well-being of children. Our mission is to promote and assist in the formation of stable families. The well-being of children is our priority. We believe every child deserves a permanent home in a safe, nurturing environment.  Our team is comprised of attorneys, licensed mental health professionals, and support staff who are specially trained and continually engaged in advancements within the field of child welfare and adoption. ACF's commitment to advocating for children and families has resulted in over 1,026 children finding stability and permanency within a nurturing family. By supporting Advocates for Children and Families, you are participating in improving the lives of children and families. Charitable contributions allow us to: 1) Find forever families for children with special needs. 2) Meet basic needs including housing, utilities, food, and clothing for families in crisis. 3) Support parents in creating individualized solution-focused plans to move from crisis to stability. 4) Provide trauma-informed clinical counseling services.

charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. We inspire giving and empower others to fundraise for sustainable water solutions. We use local partners on the ground to build and implement the projects. Then, we prove every single project funded, using GPS coordinates, photos and stories from the field. We have funded 91, 414 water projects, aimed to serve 14, 762, 215 people in 29 countries. We believe that sustainable work is locally-led. Along with implementing community-owned water projects, our local partners help facilitate comprehensive water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programming to protect everyone’s long-term health.

Lidè is an educational initiative in rural Haiti that uses the arts and literacy to empower at-risk adolescent girls and help them transition into school or vocational training. The Lidè program seeks to uplift women and girls who have been denied equal access to education. Lidè trains and employs Haitian teachers and collaborates with grassroots schools and programs. In Lidè programs participants gain life and leadership skills and help foster the community support they need to begin their educational journey. The Lidè Foundation believes that arts in education inspires personal empowerment, resilience and self-efficacy. Lidè means both “Leader" and “Idea" in Haitian Creole.

The Herbalife Nourishment Foundation (HNF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children all over the world by helping provide access to good nutrition. HNF supports charitable organizations that provide vulnerable children with the nourishment they need to develop their full potential in order to build a society where every kid has equitable access to adequate nutrition. In addition, HNF frequently contributes to relief operations in the aftermath of major natural catastrophes around the world.
