Established in 2012, the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners Foundation was created with the mission to promote excellence in species-oriented veterinary medicine in clinical practice and academia. The ABVP Foundation will achieve this by not only utilizing fundraising efforts to support the development of veterinary students as they work to fulfill their academic requirements, but also to build awareness among animal owners as the importance of having an ABVP certified veterinarian is paramount in the health of their animal or livestock.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), is a non-profit organization created in July 2005 to take over the operations of the city shelter and to work directly with Baltimore City Animal Control. We take in homeless, neglected, and unwanted animals in Baltimore City. BARCS' mission is to accept and care for all animals in need and promote responsible pet ownership for a more humane community in Baltimore City.

Our Mission is to facilitate equitable growth in academics, social emotional skills, and self-esteem through mutually beneficial mentoring relationships. We believe in cultivating a brave space that amplifies the voices of young agents of change in a diverse and inclusive community. First Tee — Triangle is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.

Our mission is two-fold:  To provide children affected by a parent's cancer with a supportive, lifelong camp community that recognizes and understands their unique needs.  To empower college students to make a difference and build invaluable leadership skills by developing and managing every aspect of their Camp Kesem chapter.

Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to help poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. Today, Rosie’s Place not only provides meals and shelter but also creates answers for 12,000 women a year through wide-ranging support, housing and education services. Rosie’s Place relies solely on the generous support of individuals, foundations and corporations and does not accept any city, state or federal funding.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO RESCUE ANIMALS, PRIMARILY DOGS, FIND FOREVER HOMES FOR THESE ANIMALS, AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING THE BENEFIT OF ADOPTION AND FOSTERING ANIMALS. THROUGH A FOSTERING AND EDUCATION APPROACH, EVERY PUP IS UNITED WITH THEIR PERFECT MATCH. THROUGH OUTREACH AND EDUCATION WE ARE COMMITTED TO PREVENTING DOGS FROM ABANDONMENT AND EASING THE STRESS ON OUR SHELTER SYSTEM.
