To provide Night Night Packages, free of charge, to homeless children from birth to pre-teen who need our childhood and educational essentials to feel secure, cozy, ready to learn, and significant.  Each Night Night Package contains a new security blanket, an age-appropriate children's book, and a stuffed animal -- all nestled inside a canvas tote bag.

The National Canine Cancer Foundation funds are used in eliminating cancer as a major health problem in dogs through education, outreach and research to save lives through prevention, finding cures, better treatments, more accurate cost effective diagnostic methods in dealing with cancer and diminishing dogs suffering from cancer.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of women are diagnosed with breast cancer, affecting one in eight women in their lifetime. The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment, and cure. To promote these goals, we invest in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified regional screening, and support for the underserved. Since its inception in 2006, BCA has invested over $39 million in grants to improve the survival rates of those diagnosed with breast cancer. The American Brain Foundation supports vital research and education to discover causes, improved treatments, and cures for brain and other nervous system diseases.  

Located in the Baltimore-Washington area, Voices of Vets is a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing group. Our goal is to perform in every veteran home in the United States. We also perform at other related veterans' events. For us, it is not only about the performance, but also our interaction with the veterans. We provide small gifts for each veteran (flags, fans, leis, flowers, etc.), and make a connection with every veteran in attendance. Veterans that entered the room lethargic and uninterested are completely transformed as they hear their favorite songs. They open their eyes, tap their feet, and are able to sing the words to the songs they love. It is truly special to see how a single show can enhance quality of life for those who served our country.

When Rotary launched its PolioPlus program in 1985, more than 350,000 people were afflicted with polio each year, and the disease was endemic in more than 125 countries. Since 1988, Rotary and its partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative have immunized over 2.5 billion children, reducing the incidence of polio by 99 percent and eradicating it from all but three countries. Rotary has contributed more than US$1 billion and many thousands of hours to the eradication effort. The Foundation also funds the training of hundreds of peacemakers through the Rotary Peace Centers program, which enables fellows to pursue a master’s degree or professional certificate at one of Rotary’s partner universities. Through academic training, study, and practice, the fellows become leaders who promote peace and aid conflict resolution in their communities and around the world.

Step Up is a mentorship nonprofit providing the structure for girls (and those who identify with girlhood) to define their ideal destination and get there -- wherever that destination may be. Through Step Up, girls experience more than just mentorship. They'll find community, feel empowered to expand their horizons, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s path with confidence. Every 13 minutes a woman dies from breast cancer. Each year in the United States alone, more than 275,000 women and hundreds of men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 42,000 die from the disease. Another 3 million people are living with the disease. The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's mission is to end breast cancer by increasing federal funding for breast cancer research, creating access to breast and cervical cancer care for underserved and uninsured women, and training advocates to play an active role wherever breast cancer decisions are made.
