Bringing access to knowledge where it's most needed Since 2007, Bibliotheques Sans Frontieres (Libraries Without Borders) has worked to bring knowledge and information to people in need. We provide access and resources that connect people to books and digital resources, expanding the reach of libraries, training facilitators in post-emergency situations, and addressing the needs of under-resourced communities. From laundromats in Oakland, California, to refugee camps in Bangladesh, we bring tools to reduce inequality of access to information and knowledge.

KNE Sustainability Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global sustainable thinking and action. Our goal is to accelerate the dissemination of sustainability knowledge through modern media and e-learning. We are funded through partnerships, grants, and collaborations with organizations committed to sustainability and regeneration. Our key initiatives include the Global Goals Compass, a tool that provides guidance on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and ReGen.rocks, an interactive social learning platform designed to educate young people on sustainability, connect them in a social network and match them with regenerative projects. Additionally, we connect researchers in the field of sustainable development, create innovative e-learning programs, and support companies and organizations in effectively implementing sustainability and regeneration strategies. RedR UK provides training and technical support to NGOs, aid workers and communities responding to natural and man-made disasters all over the world. Our expert support ensures that those responding to humanitarian crises - whether or not they are professional aid workers - have the skills to do so safely and effectively.

IGLYO - The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth & Student Organisation is the world's largest LGBTQI youth and student network, counting more than 100 Member Organisations in over 40 countries across the Council of Europe Region. IGLYO's mission is to strengthen the rights of LGBTQI youth, fight for equality and inclusion, and empower LGBTQI youth voices. IGLYO represents the diverse rights and intersectional needs of LGBTQI young people and works hard to ensure that their futures are bright. We achieve our objectives through international training and events, targeted capacity building programmes, intercultural exchanges and peer learning, thematic research and advocacy actions, online tools and resources, digital story-telling and campaigning, networking activities, and more. Since our establishment in 1984, IGLYO has been growing steadily with new Members joining every year. Our Members are organisations who represent and/or support LGBTQI youth and/or students, work with LGBTQI youth or issues, comprise mainly of LGBTQI youth, or have a specific department working for/with youth.

Established in 1980, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) has been delivering frontline humanitarian aid for 40 years. Operating in many of the mostdifficult to access, complex, and hostile environments in the world, SI responds to humanitarian crises as a result of conflicts, violence, natural hazards, infectious disease outbreaks, and poverty. SI strives to save lives and change lives, responding to emergencies, strengthening resilience to risks and threats, and creating opportunities to pursue their life prospects, by delivering evidence-based dynamic programmes that provide relevant, effective, efficient and timely humanitarian assistance to vulnerable and marginalised people, and people who have been severely affected by crises. We work in 23 countries across the globe providing access to safe water, sanitation services and facilities, hygiene and shelter assistance, and food security, livelihoods, protection, and cash-based support for over 4.6 million people.

Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.

The association's non-profit goal of international benefit is to create a platform for young people in order to advocate for a just and green transition in Europe. More specifically, the association aims to: 1. Facilitate internal coordination and collaboration between its member organizations; 2. Empower young people to engage meaningfully in the processes EU decision-making regarding climate, the environment and sustainable development; 3. Advocate for strengthened environmental and climate action by and within the European Union which proactively and regularly integrates the voice of young people.

We reach our goal by influencing policies, building civil society capacity, facilitating mutual learning and exchanging practice and research. We are committed to child participation and to actively involve children in different aspects of our work.

ADRA is an international humanitarian organization helping people in need. ADRA Czech Republic is part of the ADRA international network operating in approximately 125 countries. ADRA Czech Republic (ADRA CZ) was established in 1992. Currently, it belongs among leading relief agencies in the Czech Republic providing humanitarian, development and social assistance at home and abroad. ADRA is a professional, learning, and efficient network that embodies integrity and transparency. ADRA reaches across boundaries empowering and speaking out for the at-risk and forgotten to achieve measurable, documented, and durable changes in lives and society. ADRA works with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action.

Humans in the Loop is a hybrid between a non-profit foundation and a for-profit social enterprise which has been working for the past 6 years towards the inclusion of refugees and conflict-affected people in the AI supply chain, as well as in the digital work field, through upskilling and paid remote work opportunities. Our shared mission is to provide a diverse group of conflict-affected and displaced people with access to career development support, upskilling, and remote work opportunities to train and monitor AI systems. We are active across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, and our work related opportunities are primarily focused on communities affected by armed conflict and are distributed with priority to countries where other remote online job opportunities are unavailable as for example Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon. In our additional partner countries Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova, and the DRC, with upcoming pilots in Kenya and Uganda, we concentrate on upskilling opportunities, equipping people with freelance related skills and then further supporting them in applying for remote work on platforms such as UpWork through our Mictrofreelancing self-paced course. Our foundation has its own training platform where we conduct trainings in English, Digital Skills, as well as data annotation skills and remote work, and everything is available online. We have developed our own proprietary modules on topics such as bias in AI and ethical AI, Cybersecurity when working online, and data annotation techniques, as well as professional courses which are either instructor-led or self-paced on topics such as Digital Marketing, Intro to Programming, Intro to Graphic Design, or Intro to Business Analytics. To date, more than 500 individuals have completed courses on our platform. Now, we want to develop our course offerings further by developing new courses on generative AI skills and real-time monitoring of AI systems, performing red team testing on AI systems, and providing feedback for reinforcement learning. Many of our trainees are already working for our social enterprise as data annotators, working on projects related to image labelling, data collection, and real-time monitoring and edge case handling of AI systems. To date, we have provided paid remote employment to more than 1,100 people. Our goal is to ensure that they progress further in their careers in the AI field and to provide them with opportunities to access further employment on freelancing platforms, or with other employers. We have partnered before with Upwork's "Opportunity Unlimited" program in order to introduce them to online freelancing, and we also have a small-scale career counselling program. Now, our goal is to expand these career development programs in order to help our graduates join the workforce of the future and contribute to making AI systems more inclusive and mitigate harmful biases.
