Founded in 1999 by environmental attorney and activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and several veteran Waterkeepers, Waterkeeper Alliance is a global movement of on-the-water advocates who patrol and protect over 100,000 miles of rivers, streams and coastlines in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Waterkeepers defend their communities against anyone who threatens their right to clean water - from law-breaking polluters to unresponsive government agencies. Made up of nearly 200 local Waterkeeper organizations, Waterkeeper Alliance keeps Waterkeepers connected, provides them with legal, scientific and communications support, and unites their voices as they take on major global water issues together.

Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe provides humanitarian aid worldwide. It supports people who have fallen victim of natural disasters, war and displacement and who are not able to cope on their own in the emergency situation they find themselves in. It is an effort to help people in great need - worldwide, regardless of their colour, religion and nationality.

Help Refugees is the leading UK NGO in a new movement of humanitarian aid, funding over 80 projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. In response to the near-complete devastation of the Yezidi people by ISIS in 2014, Free Yezidi Foundation has been providing spaces for Yezidi refugees — mostly women and children — to get psychological care and develop skills needed to re-enter society. To kick off 2019, a $100k match grant was offered by Semnani Family Foundation (together with 5th Element Group and Solver). Thanks to people like you, we unlocked 100% of the match grant by March 31, 2019!
