Wotton Community PARC (WCP) is a 38 acre truly multifunction, multi sport, recreational, leisure and community facility, which is open to the public 24hrs a day, 7 days a week with the majority of the PARC being free to use. The PARC was created in the year 1999 and has grown to host over 135,000 visits per year and is still growing. The site is managed by the charity Wotton Community Sports Foundation (WCSF) and receives no public funding.Wotton Rovers Youth Football Club, Wotton Hockey Club, Wotton Rugby Club, parkrun and Junior parkrun are all clubs based in the PARC. Katherine Lady Berkeley secondary school use our artificial pitches for a range of sports and the wider PARC for cross country. As well as formally structured sports usage we have a skatepark and BMX pump track facility free for public use and have many joggers and social football players regularly using our site. We also host events such as the Cotswold Challenge and County Cross Country running. Alongside the sports use of the site we have many community and leisure groups, Sensory Garden Group, Story Telling, Poetry Group, Forest School, Orchard Group, Beehive Group, Tree planting group, car boot sale, Bonfire night and an annual Party in the PARC music festival.
We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, abused and abandoned animals. We provide a safe environment, veterinary care and love for all the animals that come into our care many of whom have been rescued by RSPCA Inspectors. Some animals are very sick and or traumatised and can spend quite some time in our care until they are able to be rehomed. We also take feral cats and kittens into care and find them new suitable homes and we have volunteers who care for hedgehogs, the numbers of which are declining at a rapid rate.
This is the Barnsley Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadet fundraising page. We will be using this for various fundraising activities. Each volunteer will state what they are raising money for. Every activity will improve a young persons life.
Dundee Ducks are an Inline Hockey club based in Dundee, Scotland. The club is one of the oldest Inline clubs in Scotland, having been founded from a group friends who got together to play hockey in the streets in 1994. The club train and play out of a purpose built rink in Manhattan Works, Dundee. The club has teams of all ages as well as a session for beginners, the club are affiliated to BIPHA (British Inline Puck Hockey Association) and play in the Scottish Region League. Whilst inline hockey is a co-ed sport, the club is also home to the only all female team in Scotland - the Daisy Ducks.
An arts, health and wellbeing charity based in West Lothian. We provide an inclusive programme of creative arts activities from dance, music, crafts and remote cinema screenings. The majority of our projects are free to participate in and we deliver our workshops in a range of community contexts.
