Golden Community Resource Society (GCRS) is the largest social service organization in Golden & Area A (by budget size and number of staff), with social service programs directed to a wide range of groups and ages. GCRS’s scope, leadership and support structure contribute to the organizations success and sustainability. Golden Community Resources Society (GCRS) is involved with many initiatives and programs, both supporting and leading. In everything we do, GCRS strengthens the Golden & CSRD Area A community and provides direct service.

The Golden Women's Resource Centre offers the following services and programs to women free of charge: safe homes program, shelter for women and children fleeing abuse, crisis support, outreach program, advocacy & support, internet access, resource library, Good Karma Clothing Exchange, computer support, children's playroom, cozy lounge, free condoms & female supplies, photocopying & faxing, Girlz Group program, workshops, and more!

The Good Samaritan Society is a not-for-profit care giving organization. We provide holistic, compassionate support services and programs for individuals who are frail, or live with chronic illness or disability. Our Vision is that The Good Samaritan Society will grow in strength, excellence and creativity in caring for others. In a spirit of compassion, we work in supportive partnerships and open our hearts to others by affirming their goodness and potential. Grace Christian School is a private, provincially-certified, K-12 academic educational institution in Charlottetown, PE; We are a ministry of Grace Baptist Church. Our desire is to work with parents to implement a positive learning atmosphere which affects both home and school. We have more than twenty-five years experience in teaching young people from a Christian worldview. As a school, we desire that students learn that Christianity is relevant to our culture. Upon graduation, students are prepared to invest their lives in impacting the world for Christ.

We celebrate the sovereignty of God over all creation (Psalm 24:1). We rejoice in God's providential care for his creation (Psalm 55:22). We praise God for his salvation freely given to all who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9). We believe that the Bible is God's word to us, teaching us his story of salvation and how the Holy Spirit transforms lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Masonic Higher Education Bursary was established by Most Worshipful Brother Ross Sheppard, an Edmonton School Superintendent as the Official Outreach Charity of the Freemasons under the Grand Lodge of Alberta. The first four bursaries of $500.00 were given in 1959. Today, the Grand Lodge of Alberta continues to raise funds to assist students, who are in financial need, to attend university or college.

Community Living is a family-based association assisting people with intellectual disabilities and their families to lead the way in advancing inclusion in their own lives and in their communities. We do this by sharing information, fostering leadership for inclusion, engaging community leaders and policy makers, seeding innovation and supporting research.

A group of passionate and concerned individuals who deeply care for youth and their families.

Greater Victoria Police Victim Services is a volunteer-based organization which supports four municipal police forces and two RCMP detachments to provide emotional and practical support to victims of crime and trauma. Support is for victims and witnesses of all types of crime including spousal assault, robbery, homicide, assault and harassment. Support is also given to those affected by traumatic events such as Motor Vehicle Incidents, sudden death and suicide.
