Deaf and Hear Alberta is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the accessibility, advocacy, education and communication needs of the Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing populations of Alberta. Our head office is in Calgary, Alberta, with a branch office in Edmonton. Our expertise lies in communication access -- through interpreting, assistive equipment, training and education for hearing loss prevention and management, and strengthening public awareness and understanding.

Parkgate Community Services Society is a not-for-profit charitable society. Since 1983, the Society has been providing community based services, recreation, education, community development and health promotion activities through Parkgate Community Centre, Seymour Youth Centre, Seycove Community Centre and other satellite locations.

The Malawi Water Project funds three projects in rural Malawi that are operated by local Malawians. The projects train villagers on the construction and maintenance of the biosand water filter and improve the health of villagers by promoting proper sanitation and hygiene. Delta Community Living Society is a non-profit organization that partners with community members and groups to support adults with a developmental disability, their family and friends, in Delta and surrounding communities.

Our mission is to bring the best musicians and teachers of the Lower Mainland to Delta. Our school serves the needs of Ladner, Tsawwassen, North Delta, and other communities in the Lower Mainland. We offer private music lessons in clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, choir, band, jazz ensemble, Music Theory and History. We also administer outreach programs including the Thrive City String Boot Camp and the South Delta Jazz Festival and Workshop.

NutritionLink Services Society (NLS) is a registered non-profit society incorporated under the Societies Act of BC. NutritionLink is also registered in Ottawa as a charitable organization. The Society is run by a volunteer board of Registered Dietitians and other British Columbians with a keen interest in nutrition. We currently employ Registered Dietitians to provide services through the projects and programs that we operate. On September 8, 2005 NutritionLink Services Society became a reality when our name was officially changed from Dial-A-Dietitian Nutrition Information Society of B.C. The Society was first incorporated in January 1993. The change in name delineates the society from our flagship program, Dial-A-Dietitian, and reflects our new purpose. The purposes of the Society are to promote and support the nutrition health of British Columbians by promoting leadership in evidence-based nutrition and linking opportunities with resources

The Diocese of Moosonee straddles both northern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec covering some 560,000 sq kms, second to the Diocese of the Arctic in geographic size. It is one of the great historic missionary areas of the Anglican Communion and of early Canada with records dating back to 1780. It is an area set in “an almost unbelievable land...of forests and lakes and rivers with mountains and muskeg and desolate tundra” (Olive Mackay Petersen). The southern part of the Diocese, called the Watershed Deanery, was developed with the mining, lumber and rail industries. The northern part of the Diocese that surrounds the James Bay and extends into inland moosoneearmsQuebec and is known as the James Bay Deanery is made up of the ancient aboriginal people of the north mostly of the Cree Nation.
