The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. We are passionate about helping all young people achieve their full potential by delivering high quality physical education (PE) and sport opportunities. Through 20 years of experience, we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities. We believe in the power of sport to change young people's lives for the better. Our programmes focus on using sport as a vehicle to improve young people's: Wellbeing: Our work develops children's fundamental movement skills, equipping them with the confidence, competence and enjoyment of sport needed for a lifetime of activity, as well as good physical and emotional health. Leadership: Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities, such as: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. Achievement: PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.

TEARS is a Pro-Life Non-Profit Organisation, whose core aims are to rescue, rehabilitate, reunite and re-home lost, abandoned, abused and neglected animals and to educate our communities, in particular the children. We strive to meet the needs of the low-income communities by: *Providing primary health care for their animals, such as vaccinations, deworming and parasite control. * Offering free sterilisations for their companion animals. * Providing a scheduled, daily Mobile Clinic, offering basic health care (vaccinations, deworming, parasite control) and food to the animals. * Establishing an essential working relationship with the residents, to protect the rights of the animals, empowering and supporting them through effective education, guidance and follow up. * Providing a registered clinic on our premises, with our own vets, offering subsidised veterinary care for pets for any condition, illness or injury. * Daily we care for +- 300 animals at our shelter, providing them with food, shelter, veterinary care, exercise and positive interaction with people, until they can be placed in loving homes.

The Volmoed Trust (for Healing and Reconciliation in South Africa) is a retreat and conference centre in Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa. The focus of its mission for the past thirty four years of its existence is reconciliation, focused on racial reconciliation, and reconciliation within families and groups. Volmoed is an Afrikaans word meaning 'full of hopeful courage'. It provides a beautiful, peaceful space in nature, as a container for confronting the difficult issues of race, gender, family conflict, differences of culture or religion or class. This beautiful, peaceful place provides the setting for courageous conversations and difficult dialogues. Many people have found that Volmoed affords them the opportunity ro confront and discover their differences, or their brokenness, and find resolution, wholeness and peace. There are many stories over the years, of reconciliation reached in very challenging situations. Groups and individuals come for training programs, conferences focused on reconciliation, group learnings, wellness retreats and relaxation. It is a very special place, the perfect place for its dynamic Volmoed Youth Leadership Program (VYLTP). This vibrant program is forming a movement of courageous young leaders who ignite transformative justice in their communities, for the planet. The program gathers diverse groups of young leaders age 19-26 years of different races, classes and genders from South Africa and other countries for a residential ten-week program at Volmoed. The mission is to form and train wise, strategic leaders for the future of our communities, our countries and our planet, by creating a safe space of learning through courageous conversations that empowers them to facilitate transformative justice in their own communities and countries.

Africa Matters is a youth-led organisation committed to upskilling and empowering African youth to change the narrative through capacity building and community impact projects. We believe that Africa's large and youthful population is an opportunity for the development and continued growth of Africa. Our why is that we want to see all African youth become change-makers who empower those around them. African youth, "we are the ones we've been waiting for'. We have impacted the lives of over 18 000 African youth and diaspora through our Schools Leadership Development Program (SLDP), Young Leadership Development Program (YLDP), Africa Matters Ambassadors Program (AMAP) and Events. Our events feature, networking evenings, workshops on African leadership and women empowerment, school talks on youth empowerment, annual Summits titled 'Towards a Better Africa', and an active online platform for robust dialogue. We exist to upskill and empower youth to better their communities.

Our mission at the Zululand Conservation Trust is a commitment to the conservation of endangered species whilst maintaining and supporting partnerships with neighbouring communities.

Eluzukweni WM and Dorcas Services Projects was founded on 6 July 2022. The organisation emerged from a shared vision by five women of the Seventh Day Adventist Church to transform the community of Inkandla (in Joe Slovo West, Port Elizabeth). Nklandla is an area that is challenged by unemployment and crime. With a deep commitment to service, we began as a soup kitchen, providing nutritious meals to those in need. We have since expanded our mission to skills development, community gardening, and spiritual enrichment. We serve an average of 170 people per day, twice a week (covering the costs at R5 per person). We willingly absorb the costs in pursuit of our grater goal: restoring hope and dignity to the community members. We also run a community garden initiative that aims to reduce operational costs, ensuring sustainability and that will enable us to reach more communities in the future.

Oxfam is a global movement of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn't inevitable. It's an injustice which can, and must, be overcome. We're dedicated to building a just and safer world focusing on people's rights. We're passionate about ending poverty and helping to rebuild the lives affected by it. It's an enormous undertaking but we also have people on our side - talented and committed partners, volunteers, supporters and staff who share the same values. Our values as an organisation are founded upon our experiences. We know that poverty can only be overcome once the fundamental human rights of impoverished others are secured and our three main values as an organisation - empowerment, accountability, inclusiveness - reflect this. Empowerment - our approach means that everyone involved with Oxfam, from our staff and supporters to people living in poverty, should feel they can make change happen. Accountability - our purpose driven, results-focused approach means we take responsibility for our actions and hold ourselves accountable; we believe that others should also be held accountable for their actions. Inclusiveness - we are open to everyone and embrace diversity; we believe everyone has a contribution to make, regardless of visible and invisible differences.

At Nyara Youth Development, creating transformation and equalizing access to opportunities is at the forefront of what we're about. The God is King Ministry is established primarily to focus on going out to the community and help the needy, irrespective of their religion, reach out to the less privileged, disabled and elderly people. To exercise the love of God 1 John 4: 8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love". Be the father to the fatherless. Benefiter to the needy. Be the help to the helpless.
