TechQuest STEM Academy LTD/GTE is a nonprofit organization that provides technology education content, resources and tools for the delivery of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics), ICT and Digital literacy programs to young Africans at scale. Mission: Our mission is to inspire African technology; raising the next million builders by imparting the building blocks of STEM, ICT and Digital Literacy; leveraging technology and community channels for scalable operations, minimal cost and a wider reach. We believe that STEM is the foundation for modern-day economic growth and equipping young people with these skills will be critical for Africa's rise in the digital economy. What we do We work with STEM organizations, hubs and communities of educators to complement traditional academic learning with an in-depth introduction to STEM, ICT and Digital Literacy by providing the content, resources and tools needed to drive innovation, evaluation and scale. Our Core Areas: Content and Product Development, Learning Assessments, Program Design and Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Engagement and Research & Development. Content & Product Development: We create content using design thinking principles and build the tools necessary for the delivery of STEM, ICT and Digital Literacy programs. Some of these content/tools include: TQ STEM Portal with features such as eLearning, scheduling, monitoring & evaluation, reporting etc. TQ STEM Electronics and Computer Science Kits, Practical STEM/ICT Curricula, and Textbook & Video Series for secondary school students and teachers. Program Design & Implementation: We design and implement STEM/ICT programs that align with our mission to inspire African technology. Monitoring & Evaluation: Our drive for Research & Development puts data collection and analysis at the forefront of our engagements. We facilitate sustainable development by embedding a culture of scientific thinking in our engagements. Since our inception in 2015, TechQuest has impacted over 24,000 young Africans in STEM through various programs, partnering with local, international and governmental organizations. Our goal is to inspire and encourage more young people into the STEM field to fill the gap that the world faces, which Africa can provide for a better and inclusive tomorrow.

Our mission is to empower women and youths, especially adolescent girls, to have expanded personal choices, explore their potentials, and control their future so that we can close gender gaps and challenge actions which stunt girls' development in the communities where we operate. Heifer is on a mission to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way by investing in agriculture and supporting small-scale farmers to earn a sustainable living income and better integrate rural women, youth and indigenous populations into more inclusive value chains. To achieve our goals, we operate in the mentioned 19 countries across four continents through locally staffed and led offices. HNL is part of the global Heifer International network and operates as Heifer's gateway to Europe. HNL focusses on building partnerships and raising funds from European donors to support local initiatives, such as this proposed project in Bangladesh. While the local Heifer team in Bangladesh manages project design and implementation, HNL is responsible for mobilizing and securing funding partners and managing donor relationships after a grant has been approved. As such, HNL also oversees coordination with donors' grant preferences. Grants and donations that HNL receives for specific projects such as this one, are transferred one-on-one to the relevant Heifer office in the country of project implementation, in this case Bangladesh. Empowering women is one of the cornerstones in Heifer's approach. Since 1999 HNL has raised funds that supported 109266 female farmers. In FY 2024, HNL has supported 15568 female farmers. Heifer started working in Bangladesh in 2006, and to date have supported more than 139000 families across 6 districts in the northern part of the country.

Street Child Nederland's social mission is to ensure that every child, especially girls and children from marginalised communities, has access to inclusive, quality education in a safe and supportive environment. We work to break the cycle of poverty and exclusion by addressing the root causes that keep children out of school, including gender inequality, economic hardship, and social marginalisation. Our priority objective is to create sustainable and community-driven solutions that not only improve access to education but also strengthen child protection, family resilience, and local capacity.

At Bump & Binky Foundation, our mission is to guide mothers and nurture futures by making pregnancy and childbirth safer in Nigeria. We equip women and healthcare providers with critical tools, education, and support to prevent preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, and postpartum infections, the leading causes of maternal mortality.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) - translated as Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organisation founded by doctors and journalists in 1971 in Paris. Our teams are made up of tens of thousands of health professionals, logistic and administrative staff - bound together by our charter. We are a global movement, with staff from over 160 countries. MSF provides medical relief to the victims of war, disease and natural or man-made disaster, without regard to race, religion, or political affiliation. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. We are a non-profit, self-governed, member-based organisation. The association's independence is guaranteed by the fact that it is funded 99% privately, mainly by individual donors and companies. MSF is an international movement of associations organised in 23 sections and 6 operational centers. The executive entities (sections and delegated offices) are linked to one of MSF's operational centers: Amsterdam (OCA), Barcelona-Athens (OCBA), Brussels (OCB), Geneva (OCG) and Paris (OCP). Operations are run from these centers. Each operational center has its own patterning with its partner sections. Since 2019, an association has been added to the list of entities that can lead operations: WaCA (West and Central Africa). 91.2% of our expenses are directly allocated to the social mission, with only 8.4% of operating & fundraising expenses. MSF makes financial transparency and rigorous management of its accounts a priority. The 3 audits of the Cour des Comptes (The French Court of Auditors) in 1998, 2004 and 2010 resulted in particularly commendable reports. Logistical strength: MSF Logistique (located in Merignac, France), is a dedicated entity created in 1986. The Merignac base is one of the world's largest centres for the transport of humanitarian supplies, with 18,500 m of storage space. It allows us to be very responsive in our operations, with the possibility of sending more than 100 tons of emergency supplies in 24 hours. Driving change: new approaches for greater impact. Throughout its history, MSF has sought to create dynamics for change and to benefit the populations it serves.

The mission of The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN) is to alleviate world hunger.  We do this by collaborating to develop food banks in communities where they are needed around the world and by supporting food banks where they already exist.
