WAFA's mission is to acknowledge, certify and share sustainable water, air, and food solutions worldwide. At WAF Awards we believe that addressing the world's most acute problems, like ending hunger, preserving clean air and bringing water to every human being, starts with acknowledging people who develop solutions that are proven to work. We strive to identify exceptional pioneers in sustainability initiatives and share their stories across multiple platforms, aiming for global reach. We celebrate them in a magnificent Awards event at a different location each year, giving them the visibility they deserve to inspire change and gather support to scale and replicate their solutions. WAFA's goal is to become a mainstream platform that mobilizes the global public in the selection of Award winners. Together, we bring to light the good deeds in the world and spread a genuine message of hope.

We are a southern-based global network that builds and strengthens movements for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and justice. Our work is grounded in the realities of those who most lack economic, social and political power. Through critical analysis and strategic actions, we connect members and allies, build knowledge, organise campaigns and share resources. WGNRR works to realise the full sexual and reproductive health and rights of all people, with a particular focus on the most marginalised. We believe that achieving this goal requires transformative social change.

Shikamana Trust oversees and manages the Shikamana School in Ukundu, Kenya. The school was founded in May 2002 with the aim of providing education for children, who due to poverty would otherwise be unable to attend school. Over 360 children regularly attend the Shikamana School, ranging in age from 3 to 17. Shikamana does not turn away any child wishing to attend school, meaning that many of the children attend despite their parent of guardian's inability to pay the very moderate schools fees. The school operates a sliding scale of fees according to what the parents can manage. This subsidized school fees mechanism is made possible through the Shikamana Trust and the Cher Charitable Foundation, which help provide necessary funds to run the school properly despite lack of income from school fees.
