Casey House is a specialty hospital with community programming including home care and outreach programs. Founded in 1988, we were the first freestanding HIV/AIDS hospice in Canada. We rely on donor funding to provide our community programs, which include the Home Hospice Program, nursing, counselling, complementary therapies including massage, recreation therapy, child care for HIV-positive parents and the Resident Care and Comfort Fund.

CAWES helps thousands of women and children each year who are caught in the destructive cycle of domestic violence, adult female sexual assualt victims, and clients who require emergency accomodation . The shelter provides short term accomodation for up to 36 women and/or children at a time. In addition several programs provide the opportunity for clients to receive councelling and assistance during and after their stay. CAWES believes that every individual has a right to a life free from abuse; That providing a broad range of culturally sensative services and shelter will assist families to overcome the impact of family violence; Ending family violence requires societal change through education and awarenes; In the empowerment of women and children to regain control of their lives. Central Neighbourhood House (CNH) is a non-profit community based United Way agency located in central east Toronto. CNH provides programming and services to a broad range of clients from the Regent Park, St. Jamestown and Moss Park areas of Toronto. Poverty, language and education barriers that are often compounded by violence, drugs and alcohol abuse disadvantage our clients and community members. Founded in 1911, CNH has been an integral part of the community for close to 100 years!! CNH offers anti-violence programs for young men and women, friendly visits to seniors, children's camps, recreation programs, tutoring. Our Street Survivors program scours the city streets, parks, bridges, and underpasses looking for children, families, teens and adults living on the streets -- we offer them support services to help them look for housing, counselling and so much more.

Main services offered: -Telephone intervention for suicidal individuals, their families and bereavement suicide -Orientation and reference to the resources of the environment -Intervention following a suicide and followed by mourning -Clinical support to stakeholders -Training and documentation -Information meeting -Development and support of networks of aid and mutual assistance -Conducting material and of prevention and intervention tools

The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC is charitable organization that provides programs and services to over 10,000 people living with CP province wide, as well as thousands more affected by CP including families, caregivers, professionals, and the community. Our vision is to see those with CP and other disabilities live a Life Without Limits. Through our programs, we are committed to enriching and supporting the lives of children, adults, and seniors with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. CAMH Foundation raises awareness and funds to transform lives at Canada's leading academic hospital specializing in mental health and addiction. We help the best and brightest minds provide innovative patient care and conduct insightful research to better understand, treat and prevent mental illness and addiction. Based in Toronto and networked around the world, CAMH also educates thousands of mental health professionals each year and develops informed public policy and health prevention strategies.

The Youville Centre is a community health resource established by the Grey Nuns in 1984. Our mission is to enhance the health of individuals, families and communities. For thirty years, Youville Centre has provided a diverse mix of services geared toward healthy living. These services range from health care and wellness education, to counselling and support. We encourage people to become involved in the management of their own health concerns, and help them identify activities and programs that are of most benefit to them.

Working within the community, Cornerstone Counselling Centre offers professional psychological services aimed at promoting wholeness of life through counselling, psychotherapy, education, assessment, and training. Being mindful of levels of income, Cornerstone provides services to individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations.

The Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC (Crisis Centre) has a 45 year history of being there for youth and adults in distress. As a safe place to turn to when there seems to be no hope, the Crisis Centre is run by 450+ front line volunteers and professional staff who support and empower troubled individuals to see their own strengths and options, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As an award-winning organization, the Crisis Centre has been a pioneer in the industry by offering a comprehensive range of leading-edge programs that are evidence-based and utilize best practices. In 2013, the Crisis Centre impacted more than 123,000 lives across BC through its 24/7 Distress Phone Line, Web-based chats (www.youthinbc.com and www.crisiscentrechat.com), and Community Education Workshops.
