The IOOF Seniors Home is a non-profit charitable organization currently operating several facilities located in Barrie, Ontario. The Organization provides a continuum of care for seniors aged 60 years and over from totally independent living to supportive housing, rent-geared-to-income housing and long-term care. The IOOF has been serving the needs of seniors in Ontario for over 100 years. The IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. is committed to serving seniors through the development of new and innovative concepts in support programs, health care services and housing initiatives. The Best Care for Seniors Campaign is to raise $6 million for the rebuilding of the long-term care facility. All donations will benefit this important effort. The new 96-bed wing is now open.

The Mental Illness Foundation’s actions are crucial: it refers to resources, raises awareness, demystifies taboos, informs about symptoms and finances research. Also,with its programs Partners For Life and Nothing’s Working?, it relies on prevention to facilitate early detection of mental illness among teenagers and workers. The Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC (Crisis Centre) has a 45 year history of being there for youth and adults in distress. As a safe place to turn to when there seems to be no hope, the Crisis Centre is run by 450+ front line volunteers and professional staff who support and empower troubled individuals to see their own strengths and options, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As an award-winning organization, the Crisis Centre has been a pioneer in the industry by offering a comprehensive range of leading-edge programs that are evidence-based and utilize best practices. Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario (SB&H) is a registered charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. SB&H provides direct support to individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families, conducts awareness and education programs, supports and promotes research, and works to ensure fair treatment and social justice for people with disabilities. Our vision is to facilitate the reduction and ultimate eradication of these conditions, and build a society that is sensitive, supportive and responsive to the needs of those living with or affected by these disabilities. SB&H is not government funded and generates 100% of its revenue through fundraising initiatives. A small complement of employees and a multitude of community volunteers carry out the Association's work. We are the only organization in Ontario addressing the needs of individuals and families affected by these serious, complex conditions.

The Alzheimer Society of Ontario’s Today’s Help, Tomorrow’s Cure Campaign is reaching out to the almost 150,000 Ontarians who have Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias (ADRD). By 2031 that number will increase by nearly 127%. That means that we will be caring for over 175,000 cases in 2010 and by 2031 there will be over 340,000 cases in the province. Our goal is to help persons with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias, their families and caregivers today, while engaging in research to put an end to this devastating disease. With your support we fund nationwide research to address the psychological and social aspects of AD such as care giving, family support and long-term care as well as biomedical investigations to find causes and treatments. The Alzheimer Society of Ontario helps local chapters deliver services by providing consultation as well as financial and educational support. In addition, we assist in program development, fundraising and supportive public policy.

CGMH is a small community hospital serving approximately 60,000 full time residents and over 2.5 million weekenders and visitors annually. We are a major trauma unit and a regional orthopaedic center of excellence. Historically, government funding of CGMH has been barely adequate to cover operational costs such as salaries, medications, utilities and other supplies. As a result, over the past 15 years community support has been the only reliable source of funding to replace worn and outdated equipment/furnishings or to invest in new medical technology. CGMH Foundation is a volunteer led organization tasked with raising the funds necessary to ensure physicians and staff at CGMH have the tools and facilities they need to make fast, accurate diagnoses and deliver exceptional care. CGMH Foundation abides by Imagine Canada’s Ethical Fundraising Code and the Donor Bill of Rights.
