Stepping Stones Day Care Society has been providing services to families in Grande Prairie Alberta for 35 years. Originally started as a Day Care it now offers a variety of integrated Family Resource Programs; Day Care, Family Child Care, Inclusive Child Care Program, Early Childhood Resource Centre, Centre for Early Learning Preschool, Respite & Nutrition Program and a Parent Link Centre. The Society believes that "Healthy families will build a healthy community".Working with young parents, many isolated from their families and communities of origin we provide child care, support programs and parent education. Many of our programs are free of charge to families.Stepping Stones works actively to promote Quality Child Care programming throughout the Northwest Region of Alberta by managing a contract for the Alliance of Early Learning Programs, a program that provides consultation to 99 ELCC programs.Our operational budget is strong but we struggle with maintaining our aging buildings.

St. John Ambulance, council for Federal District(Ottawa) provides volunteer community service, Youth programs, and Therapy Dog services. SJA receives no government support for their activities and relies on donations to carry out its mission.

St. Mark’s College, incorporated by a private bill of the BC legislature, is the Catholic theological college affiliated with the University of British Columbia. St. Mark’s offers the Master of Arts in Theology Studies, Pastoral Studies, Religious Education, Educational Leadership, and Catholic Ministry Leadership. It also offers Graduate Certificates and Continuing Education programs. St. Mark’s College provides campus ministry services to the wider Catholic and non-Catholic community of the University of B.C. St. Mark’s College is an Associate Member of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada(ATS) and is positioning to apply for candidacy status.

SERVICES ONTARIO EARLY YEARS Programs which include parenting courses, workshops, emergent literacy, single parent groups, groups for mothers and their infants and drop-in sessions. ESSEX PRESCHOOL SPEECH AND LANGUAGE (TALK 2 ME) Offers assessment and a range of intervention services for families who have concerns about their child’s speech, language or emergent literacy skills, from birth to the year they start school. ESSEX-KENT INFANT HEARING PROGRAM Offers universal newborn hearing screening, high risk monitoring and additional services for families of children identified with a permanent hearing loss living in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent counties. ESSEX-KENT BLIND-LOW VISION PROGRAM Offers specialized family-centred services for children who are born blind or with low vision. VOLUNTEER / STUDENT PLACEMENT PROGRAM This program offers orientation, training and supervision to community volunteers and student placements.

Sunburst Children's Centre is a non profit charitable workplace childcare centre licensed under the Ontario Day Nurseries Act by The Ministry of Education and is located in the Environment Canada building at 4905 Dufferin Street. Sunburst opened its doors in September 1982, and is operated by a volunteer board of directors elected primarily from the parent users. Sunburst is a quality workplace childcare centre giving enrollment priority to employees of the federal government. Spaces available are then open to the community. The centre is licensed for 41 children, distributed as 10 infants (0 to 18 months), 15 toddlers (18 to 30 months) and 16 preschoolers (2 ½ - 5 years).

Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre is a membership based non profit organization mandated to promote and maintain opportunities and facilities for the study, practice and appreciation of the arts, handcraft, nature and conservation. It was founded in 1964 and is the longest continuously operating Centre of its kind in Canada. Over the years it has offered hundreds of programs to thousands of children and adults in a range of visual and performing arts and natural history. It also endeavours to provide opportunities every year to those who face financial challenges.

Beginning in 1930, Camp Kuriakos has been ministering in the outdoors on the shores of Sylvan Lake. Thousands of people attend Kuriakos programs or use Kuriakos facilities each year.

Our objectives are: To plan, develop and deliver social and heath care programs for communities within the Skeena Health Unit District To support community involvement through participation with other agencies, societies and citizens To act as an advocate for social and economic improvement throughout the region To promote community awareness of social and health care issues To work with federal and provincial health and welfare planning and fund raising organizations in order to achieve community based services

The Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO) is a charitable organization operating through a network of local branches in communities across Ontario, linked by a small co-ordinating office in Toronto, and governed by its Board of Directors and Provincial Council. The Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO) has been involved in preserving Ontario's architectural and environmental heritage since 1933, through advocacy and direct action. Founded in 1983, the BBPA is a non-profit, charitable organization that addresses equity and opportunity for the Black community in business, employment, education and economic development. The BBPA sponsors the annual BBPA Harry Jerome Awards, a national awards event that recognizes and honours excellence in achievement and supports higher education through the BBPA Harry Jerome Scholarship Fund. In addition the BBPA provides networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and professionals.
