The Calgary Public Library Foundation is a registered charity, separate from the Calgary Public Library itself. La mission de l’organisme est soutenue par des actions et des interventions visant le développement global de l’enfant et l’enrichissement des compétences parentales par le biais de différentes activités et de programme de soutien à la famille. La Relance Jeunes et Familles a développé un modèle d’intervention inspirée de l’approche systémique qui tient compte de l’ensemble de l’écologie familiale, sociale et économique. Ce modèle repose sur le développement de l’estime de soi, la réussite scolaire, la concertation avec les partenaires du milieu, le renforcement des compétences et l’implication des familles dans la résolution des problèmes.

The NCCI Foundation supports the NCCI school by providing scholarships and bursaries as well as funds for material projects such as technology, music instruments, etc.

The Minstrel Foundation has been instrumental in launching the Regent Park School of Music, in expanding music and arts programs at the Dixon Hall Music School, University Settlement Music School, Pia Bouman School of Dance and the Canadian Children's Opera Chorus, and in sponsoring summer music camps for underpriviledged youth. In addition, The Foundation each year presents the Hagood Hardy Protege, Fan Po Chu, and the Cassels Brock and the Minstrel Foundation music awards for advanced students to study.

We are a hands-on charity which provides real aid to young people in the developing world by putting desks in classrooms, textbooks in children's hands, and libraries in their communities. In 1999, we installed our first computer lab in sub-Saharan Africa and since then have gone on to provide technology and training in IT in Ghana, Zimbabwe, and Kenya as well. Working with local organizations such as the Emmanuel Boyz Rescue Centre (Kenya), we help address the most basic needs of street children, AIDS orphans, and other vulnerable youth. Our organization is entirely volunteer run.

The Shakespeare Company (TSC) bridges the truths of the past with the challenges of today through fresh, brave, and highly accessible performances. For 17 seasons, TSC has used the works of William Shakespeare to strike at the heart of what it means to be human in our rawest moments.
