The Lord's Hands NGO WHO ARE WE? ________________________________________ The Lord's Hands is a charitable and humanitarian NGO founded on human and Christian values centered on the true love of neighbor. It has been said: 'Too often we notice the needs around us, hoping that someone from far away will magically appear to meet those needs. Perhaps we wait for experts with specialized knowledge to solve specific problems. When we do this, we deprive our neighbor of the service we could render, and we deprive ourselves of the opportunity to serve. While there is nothing wrong with experts, let us face it: there will never be enough of them to solve all the problems.' We are not experts, nor rich or famous, but we have a reverence for life and a desire to be 'the Lord's Hands' in helping the poor and the needy. Join us to fight Famine Mission Famine is one of the most common evils in our communities because of natural disasters, conflicts, unstable economic situations, and the lack of fundamentals in management and self-reliance principles. The goal is to support communities by training them on small projects in the processing, production, and conservation of food products. Strategies Food for All Program Based on local realities, we identify communities of different strata of our populations in the grip of hunger, living in rural areas and some in urban areas and help them to take charge of themselves by efficiently exploiting natural resources at their disposal. With our partners who are experts in the field, we provide basic training, provide production tools such as watering cans, seeds, etc. Beneficiaries commit to perpetuate this culture in their families and commit to contributing with resources such as land for gardening, time, and availability to learn and share knowledge on agricultural techniques they receive from our program. Education ________________________________________ Mission We help people from disadvantaged social strata to acquire basic and practical trainings for their personal, collective development, and Self-reliance. Strategies Professional Training: In partnership with Local professional training centers, we provide short-terms practical trainings in the following areas: - Sewing Skills - Masonry & Construction Skills - Plumbing Skills - Cooking Skills - Agriculture & Farming Skills - Welding Skills Literacy: With proven technicians and partners working in the field of education, we organize French literacy classes for women and children first. Adults in need are also considered. Scholarship: In partnership with local orphan's supporting structures, we help pay school fees for orphans and other children in real need. 'Computer for BYU Pathway Connect' With the support of our donors, we are providing Laptops to purposeful BYU Pathway Connect students who meet qualifying criteria and demonstrate a real need. Understanding that we are the main responsible for the environment in which we live. The Lord's Hands NGO with its vast network of volunteers recognize the impact that each community participant can make in improving conditions and environment of their community. The Lord's Hands NGO initiates projects and partners with institutions or groups working in community & environmental improvement. Without any form of race, color, ethnicity, or religious discrimination we participate in a various range of Community projects including: Strategies - Food delivery to the elderly people and orphans. - Orphanage, Elderly Houses or a public hospital Cleaning or Rehabilitation. - Game activities for disadvantaged children. - Collect baby clothes and supplies to donate to new parents. - Free Art Courses, (Music & Dance). - Cleaning or unblocking of road of general interest. - Participating in a tree planting and awareness campaign on environment protection. PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT Emergency Responses NGO Partnerships Emergency Responses Becoming inevitable, natural disasters are more and more frequent in our communities, creating enormous damage. Our mission is that whenever one occurs within our reach, that we provide assistance and relief to the victims. It has been reported that on average, humanitarian crises are more complex than at any time in the last 15 years, and last nearly three years longer than they used to. Conflict, migration, climate change and now the unexpected pandemic (COVID-19) are the key trends driving these crises. Critical Emergency Responses to Address: - Providing the basics (Soap, Sanitizers, masks etc.) - Reinforce Sanitation to minimize infection As they arise in our area of activities, Emergency responses will be posted and best approaches shared on our website and social media pages Strategies In partnership with local institutions, we identify and quantify needs to find a more effective approach to addressing the emergency. We mobilize volunteers, collect donations in kind and in cash depending on the type of disaster and work closely with the competent structures to relieve the affected communities. NGO Partnerships Recognizing the contribution that other charitable structures and institutions make to our communities, it will always be an honor for us to partner with NGO's and other charitable structures operating in the Humanitarian and environmental sector. We also recognize the challenge being faced by International organizations in implementing projects in our region. We are committed to engaging with them in an ethical and professional way to carry and assist with projects implementation and impact evaluation. To promote solutions that increase opportunities and empower communities

To transform and restore hope to broken lives by mitigating the impacts of societal breakdown especially those related to breakdown of traditional societies and introduction of new lifestyles. This is achieved through innovative education and counseling towards healing, prevention of and addressing the systemic drivers of its prioritised issues, namely (1) trauma and its underlying conflicts, violence and broken commUNITY peace, (2) distorted emotional & social capacity, (3) behaviours promoting HIV/AIDS and related infections, and (4) substance abuse, with special attention for marginalised youths. In particular KAP empowers people at 'grassroots' level by giving them knowledge and skills as well as a concerned and helping human heart. KAP's CORE INTERVENTIONS mainly revolve around (1) Community-based training of Community Resource Persons (CRPs); (2) Provision of professional counselling and (psycho-) education services; (3) Health promotion courses and counselling for reimbursement/for a fee. KAP's prioritised issues are organised into four SUB-PROGRAMMES: (1) HIV/AIDS Behaviour Education, (2) Abuse and Addiction Prevention, Community-Based Treatment and Referral, (3) Prevention and Healing of Violence and Trauma for Peace, and (4) Empowering Youths on the Margins ('Unreached Youths'). A fifth strategic pillar called 'Institutional Excellence' aims at continued organisational, partnerships and human resources development. KAP's CROSS-CUTTING ISSUES are Safeguarding & Protection, Gender, Environmental Preservation, and Other Emerging Issues.

Heifer is on a mission to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way by investing in agriculture and supporting small-scale farmers to earn a sustainable living income and better integrate rural women, youth and indigenous populations into more inclusive value chains. To achieve our goals, we operate in the mentioned 19 countries across four continents through locally staffed and led offices. HNL is part of the global Heifer International network and operates as Heifer's gateway to Europe. HNL focusses on building partnerships and raising funds from European donors to support local initiatives, such as this proposed project in Bangladesh. While the local Heifer team in Bangladesh manages project design and implementation, HNL is responsible for mobilizing and securing funding partners and managing donor relationships after a grant has been approved. As such, HNL also oversees coordination with donors' grant preferences. Grants and donations that HNL receives for specific projects such as this one, are transferred one-on-one to the relevant Heifer office in the country of project implementation, in this case Bangladesh. Empowering women is one of the cornerstones in Heifer's approach. Since 1999 HNL has raised funds that supported 109266 female farmers. In FY 2024, HNL has supported 15568 female farmers. Heifer started working in Bangladesh in 2006, and to date have supported more than 139000 families across 6 districts in the northern part of the country.

Alice for Children by Twins International ETS is an Italian NGO operating in Kenya since 2006, focusing on improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities in the slums of Nairobi and the rural area of Rombo, near the Tanzanian border. The organization collaborates with local communities to address systemic challenges, emphasizing access to education, healthcare, and economic empowerment while protecting and promoting human rights in the remote and neglected areas. Key initiatives include establishing schools in underserved areas, improving infrastructure, and providing resources to foster sustainable development. In the slums of Dandora and Korogocho, where the Organization first began working in 2006, Twins International manages 1 Early Childhood Care Centre (Baby Care) and 8 schools (primary, junior secondary and secondary), together with local community-based organizations, that offer education and support to children living in extreme poverty. The slum areas, characterized by a lack of basic services such as water and sanitation, are home to families who depend on informal work like waste collection for survival. By focusing on education, the organization offers children a path out of poverty and an opportunity to achieve long-term stability. Beyond education, Twins International has implemented programs that empower families and communities through healthcare access, food assistance, and adult training initiatives.

Transformers Organization is a grassroots initiative committed to empowering young lives and building brighter futures in Nairobi's Mathare slums and beyond. Our mission is to support adolescent girls, teen mothers, and youth through mentorship, life-skills development, and access to opportunity. We place special focus on STEM education and digital literacy, recognizing that girls in rural and urban informal settlements are often excluded from tech spaces. By offering coding and digital skills training, we aim to bridge the gender gap in technology, boost confidence, and prepare girls for a future driven by innovation. Alongside STEM, we provide livelihood training in fashion design, carpentry, and entrepreneurship, helping youth build resilient paths out of poverty. We believe that when girls are equipped with the tools to code, create, and lead, they become powerful agents of change-not just for themselves, but for entire communities. Together, we can.

Street Child Nederland's social mission is to ensure that every child, especially girls and children from marginalised communities, has access to inclusive, quality education in a safe and supportive environment. We work to break the cycle of poverty and exclusion by addressing the root causes that keep children out of school, including gender inequality, economic hardship, and social marginalisation. Our priority objective is to create sustainable and community-driven solutions that not only improve access to education but also strengthen child protection, family resilience, and local capacity.

Educate and Empower Organization was founded in March 2020 by a group of young volunteers dedicated to promoting active volunteerism and implementing projects focused on education and skills development to drive positive change in local communities. The organization was officially registered as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) in 2022 with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. Since then, it has evolved into a community-led entity that provides sustainable access to educational opportunities and skills enhancement, making a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of the people it serves. The mission is to promote sustainable access to educational opportunities and skills development and to make a tangible and impactful change in the lives of the people we serve.

Mission: Forging ways for women & girls in extreme poverty to learn, connect and lead. We operate only in places of extreme poverty: villages of South Sudan, Haiti, Malawi, and refugee camps in Kenya and Uganda. Our programs create opportunities for marginalized and displaced women and girls in critical areas: Education: We increase girls' access to education (K-University) through scholarships, extracurricular enhancements, and leadership skills workshops. Advocacy: We train all of our Scholars in leadership and advocacy. As MBB alumnae they use their voices to promote human rights for all, especially marginalized women and girls.
