Our Mission Sew Bee-Cause is dedicated to creating a sustainable and impactful solution by upcycling pre-used fabrics to produce clothing and women's sanitary pads for refugee children and orphanages. We aim to promote sustainability while empowering women and advocating for children's rights.

HI Bangladesh is part of HI federation working in 59 countries across the world. HI is an independent and impartial aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

Heifer is on a mission to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way by investing in agriculture and supporting small-scale farmers to earn a sustainable living income and better integrate rural women, youth and indigenous populations into more inclusive value chains. To achieve our goals, we operate in the mentioned 19 countries across four continents through locally staffed and led offices. HNL is part of the global Heifer International network and operates as Heifer's gateway to Europe. HNL focusses on building partnerships and raising funds from European donors to support local initiatives, such as this proposed project in Bangladesh. While the local Heifer team in Bangladesh manages project design and implementation, HNL is responsible for mobilizing and securing funding partners and managing donor relationships after a grant has been approved. As such, HNL also oversees coordination with donors' grant preferences. Grants and donations that HNL receives for specific projects such as this one, are transferred one-on-one to the relevant Heifer office in the country of project implementation, in this case Bangladesh. Empowering women is one of the cornerstones in Heifer's approach. Since 1999 HNL has raised funds that supported 109266 female farmers. In FY 2024, HNL has supported 15568 female farmers. Heifer started working in Bangladesh in 2006, and to date have supported more than 139000 families across 6 districts in the northern part of the country.

It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is a trans-national disaster aid alliance that works to facilitate cooperation and understanding between governments, private companies and NGOs in the Asia Pacific region. We will facilitate collaboration among the member countries for the purpose of delivering effective and efficient disaster assistance through disaster preparedness, risk reduction, relief and recovery. A pre-agreement among governments, private companies, and NGOs would make it possible for us to act together and deliver even more effective and efficient disaster assistance to disaster victims. A difference we want to make... International rescue efforts are becoming increasingly common in today's world. Each country, however, sends their team separately, and their rescue efforts are often conducted independently of each other. It is true that each country is trying to do its best in rescuing disaster victims. Yet, if we could reach a pre-agreement, not merely among nations but also between different sectors, to act together to fight any future disaster... We would be able to deliver even more efficient and effective disaster aid to even more people, in even less time.

-In precarious neighborhoods, ensure permanent access to quality running water at home, fire-fighting, hygiene training, community building and emergency plans. Develop other essential local services according to needs and capacities. -Conduct systemic diagnoses of waste and sanitation management and propose initiatives adapted to the context and available resources, preferably in support of communities and local authorities. -Mobilize and involve all stakeholders in setting up high-impact social projects that are ultimately economically viable and self-sufficient.
